" these guys clobbered me. i ordered a $50 skateboard deck from them via paypal. a few days later i emailed them to request a shipping eta/status and got no reply. so, i filed a non-receipt of goods claim with paypal. literally minutes later i received an email from underbid stating my transaction had been reversed - however that was days ago AND STILL NO REFUND! i'm just a young-poor college student so $50 is a big deal to me. having said that, from this day fourth, before i hand over a considerable amount of my hard earned money, i will make an effort to know who i'm doing business with. i hope anyone reading this will avoid underbid - no matter how sweet the deal. btw check-out this website ( http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Underbid ). a fellow paypal member and victim of underbid raises a valid point... why are you/paypal still in partnership with them?
why? i don't get it - why is underbid.com doing this to me? they state that they have reversed my transaction - yet they keep my money? what could i have possibly done to them? they have both the skateboard deck and my money. why?"
"Ditto to all the negative reviews. DO NOT order from them, they are just plain frauds. I can't imagine why PayPal is associated with these people.

"Extremely dissatisfied with service, ordered a toy from them and they charged my Paypal account but never shipped it (it has been a month since i placed the order). I have an opened a Paypal dispute, the first time I have ever needed to do this in the 10 years I have been using Paypal. Do not order from these people."
"I wish I had read the other reviews here before ordering from this place. Two weeks after placing my order, no word from them, so I sent an e-mail to customer service. No response. Waited a few days and tried again. Again, no response. I even tried e-mailing the vendor and also got no response. It's now three weeks post-order and nothing. Don't order from these people unless you enjoy being frustrated."
"Do not trust this company!!!! I ordered a Smart Strip LCG3 power strip only to find out that the product was mislisted and that they would be unable to ship me my product. Apparantly most products on Underbid.com are like this. Buyer Beware!!!!"
"I ordered a t-shirt through Underbid. The listing page said that ten shirts were available. I was sent to paypal to make the payment, which I did. A couple days later, I got a reply from socheapithurts.com, the website that had the listing through Underbid, saying that they were refunding my money because the shirt was no longer available.
I am not angry with Socheapithurts. They've given me a full refund. Their only problem is that they decided to post a listing through Underbid.com which STILL lists the shirt, and STILL says it has ten of them available!"
"I ordered a hard-to-find Swiss Army Blanket from Underbid.com for $60. Underbid is just a reseller that forwarded my order to ArmyNavyDeals.com (aka Uncle Sam's Army Navy Outfitters). I should have known from the start that something was amiss because Uncle Sam's showed the item was OUT OF STOCK, yet Underbid claimed there were items left! Underbid promptly took my money through PayPal with amazing speed, then I did not hear anything from them or Uncle Sam's for a week. It took me 5 (yes, FIVE) phone calls to Uncle Sam's over a period of another week to find out that Underbid-based orders have to go through their webmaster (!), who never seemed to be around when I called, and a custom order had to be created for me that caused great confusion at the store. The employees at the store (I talked to at least 3 different people) didn't seem to know who Underbid was, so I guess the system was new. Am I the first person to have ordered something from their store via Underbid?
Do not -- I repeat, DO NOT -- order anything through Underbid if they are fronting for ArmyNavyDeals.com!! Their systems DO NOT talk well to each other and require a lot of human intervention. The people at ArmyNavyDeals.com clearly dropped the ball on this (but this is another story for another place), but Underbid clearly screwed up also because they showed an out-of-stock item, which launched this whole charade. I am really left wondering how many other sellers do not work well through Underbid, and who is responsible for this unorganized mess -- the seller's or Underbid's incompetence.
There is simply no reason for Underbid to exist -- I could have just gone to the original source store and saved myself the headache. What exactly have they done for me here, other than make the situation worse? The moment I placed my order, Underbid e-mailed me to say that all issues about the order should be handled with the seller, not with Underbid; so what is Underbid doing, then, to make my experience better? They create a more complicated situation, then have no place in the conflict resolution process.
Oh well, at least supposedly I'm getting a refund from ArmyNavyDeals.com, 19 days and several phone calls after my money was taken.

"Underbid is a reseller. They submit the order to a 3rd party vendor for fulfillment, which means that, in spite of showing an item in stock, they really don't have a clue, or are out of date with regard to actual availability. Also, and this is the worst, they charge your card through PAYPAL, which is not properly disclosed until after the transaction is complete. If I had known this, I would have passed them up, but by then it was a done deal and my card had been accessed.
It took me a week of harangueing these people to get my card credited after it was revealed to me that the item that showed "5 in stock" was actually on backorder for 10 WEEKS! The credit still doesn't show up, even though they have ackowledged that they refunded the charge...we'll see.
Paypal is PURE POISON as far as I'm concerned, due to past experience with them. Underbid is a middleman, and a bad one at that, and their vendor was not any better; I regard it as completely unacceptable for any company to charge money against a credit card UNTIL THE ITEM IS READY TO SHIP! I got off easy this time...won't be making a mistake like this again...CHECK THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU ORDER! Good luck and caveat emptor!"
"The businesses that underbid works with are horrible, lacking diligence and care. Companies such as Homeannex take 2-3 weeks just to process an order. So the money you save is not worth the time you have to wait. Just say no."
"Underbid passed this order to Homecenter.com, which may or may not be the same people. I took great pains to locate a towel bar in gold color, per their picture, but received a stainless steel bar instead. I had hoped that stainless steel was the material but not the finish but their description was too vague to discern. My run-in with "Customer Support" was not an experience I want ever to repeat."
"After receiving my PayPal payment, Underbid.com informed me that they redirected my order to Homeannex.com, who never delivered merchandise. Shortly after Underbid.com redirected my order, my Underbid.com account login resulted in "We're sorry; incorrect id", even using automated link emailed by Underbid.com"
