"Around mid Jan 2016, having never used this type of sell back service with previous mobile devices, I located Usell from off the internet and received a quote of $63 for my used Samsung Galaxy 4 phone, which was kept in very good condition, if not excellent in my opinion. After sending the phone (battery &charger) in for their inspection I received an email stating that the phone was "damaged", there was a hairline scratch on the volume button and the revised quote was to be $12.94. At that point I requested my device to be returned BACK to me. I then submitted this same phone to one of their competitors, who made me a quote of $65 for the device. The competitor received my device, inspected it thoroughly, emailed me that the device passed ALL inspections, and my check for $65 was being disbursed within 2-3days. Now I ask anyone with rationality as a guide, how could this same device have truly been "damaged" as stated by Usell? "

I reviewed your order and I do see that we received the iPad 2 you were selling $59.50 on 1/29/16, but our inspectors found that the display had white patches on it. This occurs when the backlight of the device loses its brightness, and the display screen becomes dim and discolored. It is a defect that is usually only visible on the white screen, when the device is restored to factory settings. Unfortunately, as a result, the LCD would need to be replaced, which is why the $10.20 revised offer was sent to you.
