Horrible Massive Charges

"They charge you an exorbitant amount for very little work. I went for a simple fix and they charged me way over what I was expecting and they trap you with some paid storage scam. JUST DIY"

Almost good but couldn’t follow directions.

"The entire process was going pretty well and I was very satisfied until it was time to ship my ps3 back to me. I was moving out of state and I made sure to update my new shipping address long before they needed to return my console to me. My billing address and shipping address are not the same but they clearly couldn’t be bothered to double check so they sent it back to my billing address. I had to call UPS and pay additional money to get the matter resolved. Video game911 never reached out to me after the issue other than to say I should’ve notified them before it was shipped. Well, that’s what I did the first time and it clearly didn’t work. I may or may not use this company in the future after this unnecessary misunderstanding. "

A Waste of Time & Money

"Made the mistake of bringing a Nintendo switch here to fix the issue of it not showing up on the TV. I had to initiate communication to find out that issue could not be resolved without spending more money on top of $100+ already spent on parts and labor. Then upon notifying them that I'd like to pick it up, I had to wait several days for them just to put it back together. Over 2 weeks wasted, should've just sent it to Nintendo."

Frauds

"My ps4 stopped reading games so i brought ot in. They charged 112 dollars to clean and repair it. Two weeks later it stopped working again, another 60 bucks to replace the laser. Now its two weeks later and its grinding and skipping most of my discs. I paid 175 bucks total for them to break it worse. Not giving them another chance as im sure it will be a waste of time, gas and money and probably result in even more problems."

"**** service, I had requested the console to be shipped to the shipping address instead of the billing address because they're DIFFERENT, but they **** went with the Billing address because they just went with whatever. Lets just put the billing address instead of 1.)checking the account for the shipping address THAT WAS REQUIRED to make the account or 2.)Check the **** SUPPORT TICKET for the request of ADDRESS that I wanted it shipped to. Now instead and making things worse, they **** have it left at a facility that takes an 1 hour total drive. When I don't have time to go their with a busy schedule. Find someone else. Expensive repairs, **** service. Try somewhere else that's not here."

Experience couldn't have been better!

"Videogame911 was a fantastic experience. They undoubtably live up to their claims of being one of the best video game console repair companies on the internet. I'd like to go over a few of the many great interactions that took place in the duration of my order:

1. Great customer service. One of the extremely impressive parts of Videogame911's website interface was the fact that after placing an order, you are able to send messages to you designated technician at any time. After sending a message, in just a few hours you are given an extremely clear and informative response. Any inquiries I had were answered promptly and completely, and that is a great quality for online companies.

2. Fantastic repair quality. After sending in my son's 3DS, I was a little worried on whether or not I'd be able to get him his console back within a fair time frame. However, I was pleasantly surprised. After sending my device in, receiving an extremely fair quote, and completing my purchase, my console was immediately set for repair. Within 2 days of sending my device into Videogame911, I was able to get a masterfully repaired product back, and with no complaints at all on the repair quality end.

Overall, I couldn't recommend this company for your console repair enough. Because of their fantastic communication system, you are able to contact a real human being at any time. There's nothing worse than repair companies who just send you default computerized responses any time you have a question, and that's really what makes Videogame911 an amazing company. Their great communication, along with their expert repair work and efficiency, is what makes Videogame911 the best choice for your console's repair.

"My PS4's HDMI port had been damaged and I decided to give these guys a shot. From the start, they were very knowledgable about the issue and a pleasure to work with. Their communication was A+, responding to all my questions quickly with very thorough explanations as to what needed to be done. Their prices were very fair. The repair was completled quickly and I was back to gaming in just a few days after sending in my console. For those looking to get their console repaired, I highly recommend using Video Game 911 for all your console repair needs."

Sent my x-box 360 in 3 times and now it's broke the 4th time ! They keep telling me it's something different . Now they say the warranty is expired but it has never been repaired in the first place !

"This company is a rip off. I sent my ps4 in for a HDMi repair. Got my system back it wasn't fixed so they promopt me to send it back so I did. I got it back for the second time and I couldn't tell if my hdmi port was fixed cause it wouldn't power on. Sent it back again and they tried to charge me 109$ saying it must of been dropped . It was never dropped by the shipper or me so there scamming you for money."

"I would like to say that I am very happy with the experience I have received from this company from the beginning of the online initiation of the problem with the machine I was in need of fixing but throughout the process of them receiving the machine, diagnosing the problem and the cost of fixing prior to, but also after receiving the machine trying to retrieve the game that was already downloaded but not at first coming back. They have and are very helpful to all phone calls and email correspondences from the start to the end. I highly recommend this company for any gaming system repairs. I had never heard of them before and thank them for being there when I needed them. "

"I just want to start by saying that if this review was only based on the company’s overall experience and knowledge of the system(s), I would be giving them a 10/10. However, this review is based on the whole experience. Firstly, when one’s system breaks for any reason, no one is happy- every gamer is upset. I had a preexisting frustration that my system was 21 days old and eBay was giving me a hard time about returning it. When I called VG 911 and spoke to Vince (the owner) I could tell that he was knowledgeable, however, very short and didn’t seem to really care about my business. Turns out, he’s the owner, so he really doesn’t have to care. The tech took my system in and made me feel secured it was going to be fixed from the second I dropped it off. Long story short, I did get my system back the following day and it did not have any issue. According to Vince, this is 1 out of a million. I don’t know why, how, or what, but my system worked from the second they plugged it in. So-
Pros- they fixed my system- Know video game systems back and front and sideways- on a good day, Vince and customer support is helpful.
Cons- Their nearly impossible to get through to on the phone- Vince can be rude when it’s busy or he has a lot going on (can be very pleasant as long as he’s just working with you) – They don’t tell you straight up that you’re warrantee sticker will be removed- they assume you will know that “diagnostics” removed the sticker – need to be more understanding that when a system is broken, no customer is happy no matter who you are.
I cannot speak to the fact that a lot of reviews state that used parts are used, chop shop type store, etc.- my system was dropped off and did not turn on, it was picked up 24 hours later, and did turn on. They are rated A+ for BBB- I just think they need to smooth out the process and maybe hire a few more people to answer the phones as a customer gets very anxious when no one answers and their working on your system. Proper customer service needs to be achieved I.E. Customer is primary person being served- let me do anything to help you- not act like it’s a hassle that customer is giving business (on good day Vince will give you his full attention.)
Overall, I could see where the store gets a bad name, but my experience was above average and my system is fixed so I’m happy.
