"I paid over $2,000.00 for this computer and it was worth every penny. "
"Ordered just before Christmas, with the expectation of getting it after. They somehow managed to get it out to me ahead of schedule and before Christmas. The rig itself is beautiful, I got a Delta Force with modest specs and haven't had a single issue to speak of 4 months after the fact. I inspected the rig thoroughly after hearing some horror stories with other companies and couldn't find anything other then top notch construction. One thing to note, these rigs are not small, so if you're looking for something comparable to something you'd find in best buy, you're going to be very much mistaken. Overall, counldn't be happier with the purchase, and once this rig is sorely outdated, I will most assuredly get my next from here as well.
Edit: Apparently something happened with the company, I'd check with more recent reviews as mine got out to me before all this came about."
"As a formerly-happy former Vigor Gaming customer, I would love for us to get together to recover the losses we've suffered, such as unfulfilled warranties and orders, thanks to Vigor Gaming's suspicious disappearance.
A hard drive I purchased in a Vigor Gaming computer 2 years ago just died. I should have had no problem since that hard drive model carries a 5-year warranty. But Vigor Gaming never told me that the hard drive they put in my new computer was Refurbished, and as such only carried a 6-month warranty by the hard drive's manufacturer; I wish I had discovered this fraudulent misrepresentation earlier."
"OK here is an update:
I did some digging and found out what is going on at Vigor. Apparently all of the employees left the company at the end of January due to problems with the executive team.
So, all of the employees that were responsible for the great customer service and quality that Vigor gained a reputation for over the past 3-4 years on this website and others cut off all association with the company at the end of January.
Also, I spoke with Chuck, who was a customer service guy at Vigor and he said that some of the old employees are going to set up a site to help customers of Vigor Gaming because they are so angry over what happened.
I told Chuck to please keep in contact with me and give me updates on that. The old Vigor employees seem genuinely nice and concerned about all of the customers that they know have been getting ***** by Vigor."
"What a scam!! I don't care what the reviews recently profess, if Vigor cannot (obviously) run with the pack...get out of the den!!! Don't change your company name, don't move to a new address..please vaporize from the biz if this is what consumers can expect.
Considering Vigor claimed burglalrly, they should have, at a minimum, immediately refunded everyone's money who had an outstanding order.
Nope, instead they charged everyone. I had to file a cc fraud claim and contact the City of Industry P.D. Strange how the local P.D. have no re-collection of a robbery at any of those multiple storefronts residing at the building address of Vigor??
I say if Vigor wants to step up to the plate, please provide the police report claim number to your customers so we can add this info to our fraud claims which will help us get our money back. What is worse, a burglarly at night (Vigors claim) or monetary robbery of their customers (me and others)?? I believe internet robbery trumps a break in.
Can you tell I'm a frustrated and irate customer who is clearing up internet fraud / robbery becasue of Vigor Gaming?
Based on all the historical decent reviews, I thought Vigor was a quality outfit...WOW was I wrong.
Would somebody please tell NewEgg to stop selling Vigor machines arrrggghh.
Other than this I have no strong feelings on the subject.

"What a horrible experience, and it still has not ended. I did a lot of research into this company and decided to buy based on customer satisfaction and reviews, including for the build I bought the best price.
I placed my order and was not contacted after 48 hours as promised. I ended up calling them and was answered by a representative who barely spoke comprehensible english. My order was confirmed and my card was charged.
10 days go by and I received a phone call (Feb. 3rd) from Vigor explaining, "Our production line has broken, and we will not be able to build your computer." During the phone call I was told my card would be credited the sale amount within 2 business days.
It is now the 17th (2 weeks later) and no charge back has taken place, and I have left phone calls, e-mails, messages, etc. everyday this week because this has gone on long enough.
Very disappointed they couldn't build my computer. Very disappointed in their lack of consistent customer service. Until they get their act cleaned up and back to the high customer ratings of 3rd quarter last year I would highly recommend staying away from them.
Edit: 3/4/10 Still have had zero contact with the company, phone calls disconnect after 3 rings, and no correspondence of any kind has occurred. It has been more than a month since I gave them money. At this point all I want is my refund so I can go buy a computer somewhere else. Based on advice given to me I have reported this situation to the BBB. I am very disappointed and a little bit fed up with the lack of refund."
"I purchased my ForceRecon7 Desktop gaming machine from Vigor Gaming on December 9th, 2009. I have had my gaming desktop for over a month now. In summary, I am very satisfied with my computer, but I have mixed reviews about their service.
About the waiting time between placing the order and actually receiving my PC, if you are very patient or have no urgency to receive your PC quickly, then you should have no problems with Vigor Gaming. Like I said, I purchased my computer back on December 9th, 2009, but it was shipped on January 11, 2010, more than a month after the order was placed online, so I actually received my PC a few days later. Most of the delay arose because they simply did not have my video card in stock at the time and they were waiting delivery from the manufacturer. The video card I purchased was an nVidia GeForce GTX 295 1792MB.
About their technical and customer service, if you speak with their systems engineer named Chuck, he is extremely helpful, attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable for any and all configurations. I communicated with him many times over email and phone, and his service was remarkable. If you do customize your rig online and if you are fortunate enough to speak with him, he will definitely help you through the entire configuration process and he will have no issues answering and all questions you will have. However, in regard to the service provided by others, when my computer was delayed, I never actually received any phone call from anyone about why it was getting delayed. I had to call back and inquire on my own. But once I did call and since I did not speak with Chuck that time I called, I spoke with another technical representative, and he was courteous as well. He called me back later the same week to inform me that my video card had arrived and they would ship out my computer on the week after.
As for the quality of the computer, it is simply outstanding. The entire box was packaged inside of a bigger cardboard box for extra protection. And the computer was guarded by styro-foam inside the inner box, so my PC had very little chance of getting damaged during shipment. Everything inside was very neatly packaged and arranged, including the manuals, cables, and discs. When I inspected the internals of my gaming desktop, it was flawless. No wiring was dangling anywhere, everything was properly tied in place, and it looked as though a lot of care and attention went into building my PC. Furthermore, I had no issues whatsoever when I turned on my PC. It is impressively quiet as it is equipped with a Vigor ArgonauticaTM Pro CPU Liquid-Cooling System and a massive fan at the top of the PC. I have already played Crysis Warhead on this machine at the highest graphics settings, and it is still noticeably quiet. It boots up in under a minute, and it performs flawlessly when multi-tasking between several programs.
In summary, if someone asked me if I would recommend Vigor Gaming system in the future, if you are willing to be patient as the assembly time may take a long time, your wait will be well worth it because you will get a very impressive machine for the price. I was fortunate enough to benefit from their holiday discounts at the time, thanks to Chuck, so I received my fabulous PC at a total price of $3315 when it normally would have cost me close to $4000. My only wishes to Vigor Gaming are that they can improve their assembly time and they can call customers to follow up after the customer has placed the order. But I praise Vigor Gaming for their high quality of assembly. Keep up the good work."
"I have had only positive experiences with this company's sales and service. Prices on items are very competitive and high quality, and the company's service technicians are particularly helpful and seem to see every problem through to a positive and successful conclusion. I have purchased three desktop units and one laptop unit from Vigor Gaming over the last 5 years and can tell you I have never experienced the problems with service that I was accustomed to at my former experiences with Dell and with Cyberpower.
Currently I have a boot up problem with my desktop and need to get that corrected. I have not been able to get in contact with Vigor and became worried, but after reading about the robbery and the inventory problems, as well as the ensuing insurance and police investigations, I can only hope that the company gets back to "business as usual" status ASAP. Thank goodness I have other computers in the house, including the Vigor laptop I am composing this message on, to use.
Everyone should just keep patient. What we do need, however, is Tommy or some other person at Vigor to help expedite better communications with current customers and new prospects looking for company information; Vigor needs to get its story out. Maybe contact some of the news organizations and computer magazines to alert their respective readerships of the current Vigor Gaming delays and problems. Next, the priority should be to get their web site up and functioning.
"
"It's a great computer. The only problem I had was finding all of the game patches to make them compatible with Windows 7, and that isn't Vigor's fault."
"On January 30 I ordered a system from Vigor online after considerable research, including their high rating on this web site. Their system responded immediately advising that someone would contact me in 48 hours to confirm my order. I have heard nothing since. I have called and left messages at all contact #s and e-mailed them as recommended by their e-mail and web site. No response at all. I checked with my credit crd company and the order hasn't yet been submitted. Thank goodness. I would like the order to go through and to get the system because previous purchaseers seem like a very satisfied lot. Currently, I am not one of them.Last week thier web site indicated that their phone systems would be down for a couple of days and be up again on last Wednesday. Nothing since. I'm thinking they have gone out of business. Anyone else have any helpful information/recommendations?"
"I am very happy with my new computer. Issues that arose during the ordering process were resolved in a timely manner, and whenever I called the customer service line, I never had to wait on hold, my calls were answered immediately. When they were out of the processor I had chosen, they gave me a free upgrade to prevent delay of my order. Altogether, I feel that I got a good deal for what I paid for. My only complaint is that my game loads too quickly for me to read the load screen tips and hints."
"I'm preparing to cancel my order that was placed on Jan 10th because of their poor customer service. Like all of the other recent reviews I'm reading here, my rig was not shipped on time. In fact, it's been almost 4 weeks and there is still appears to be no hope for an end to the delays. It took me repeated attempts at phoning and emailing them just to get a customer number so that I could track my order via their website. After finally getting my customer number via email (never got a return phone call) I find that my order's tent. ship date is Jan 25th - a week and a half ago. Based on their performance so far, I have ZERO CONFIDENCE in this company's ability to deliver me the value that I was originally willing to pay for. Not anymore though, I'm preparing to cancel my order now."
"Originally attempted to order the PC several days before hand, but was unable to do such due to an inability to confirm the purchase until the 19th of October. Ultimately my experience was nice but a test on my desire to have my computer how I wanted instead of loaded with components that the company can't tell me will be (My Alienware Sales Experience). Phone calls were answered promptly and it was quite easy to get in contact with those who could actually answer tech related questions.
What made my experience somewhat of a trial was the huge lack of ATI 5800 series cards on the market around the time I ordered it. This is no fault of Vigor Gaming, it was an issue with just an overall shortage of the GPU itself. As such, it was not until late November that my PC finally arrived. Every few days I'd call to check in to see if there was any word on my Delta Force T7. By the end, they pretty much were handing me off to whomever was in charge of ordering parts to discuss how many of the cards they'd be getting if any.
When the PC was finally in my hands by late November, I was quite happy. Recieving all of the bits and pieces that came along with the computer parts is quite nice, all neatly tucked inside the motherboard box. I was quite impressed with the packing job, which had kept everything from arriving in some sort of ibuypower shattered disaster like I'd experienced a few years prior. It was and has been exactly what I put together and has served me well.
My wait on posting a review was mostly related to me wanting to get some time on the system. The possibility of a faulty card, or PSU, or ram was something that lingered on my mind as I waited and waited. Though it was refreshing to know during my contact with the company that the system was tested continually with a dumby GPU while I did wait so yeah know, month long stress tests... That works.
Pushing the month long wait for my GPU out of mind, the only thing that had me a little ticked was the promise of a game or t-shirt being slipped my way for the excessive wait which wasn't followed through. Whether the included game had been something I'd have played or not wasn't the issue, it could have been an ancient and random 5 dollar bargain bin title. It is just a matter of principles."
" Well so far my expierance with Vigor gaming is a mixed bag. I placed my order on 1/25/10 and had no problems getting through to a rep who was very helpful with a change I needed.
However, as the poster stated below I have tried to contact them last few days and there is no response the phone just dumps to a voice mail after a few rings. I just tried the web site and it is down as well.
With the accusation of theft at around this same time this lack of response from their customer support is not a good sign.
My ship date is 2/8/10 and I will update this review soon as I get the system or have to dispute payment with my bank to get my money back since I cannot get ahold of anyone at the company, but buyer beware so far I am on the fence with this company.
(UPDATE) DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! I have not recived my shipment nor have I received any form of comunication from the company.
I now have to contact my bank and have them reverse the charge and contact the BBB, this company is fraudulant, they are not picking up the phones on purpose so people cant cancel their orders after their clams of theft."
"I ordered my laptop on January 1st and was informed the shipping date would be January 20th. Today is January 29th and I have still not received my tracking number or a confirmation email stating that my laptop is on its way. When I check my order status it still says it is in the quality control phase. On top of that I have not received any communication regarding a possible delay in the process. Nor have I received a return call about my inquiry of the item. I have called several times and am forced to leave messages. I do not understand the purpose of a message machine when the messages are not returned. I have never felt so neglected by a company in my life.
I am extremely disappointed in the situation and how this company handles its relationships with its customers. Having purchased an expensive item I would expect that Vigor has the decency to not neglect my needs and concerns. I tend to be a loyal customer but you are not a loyal company.
I am so dissatisfied with Vigor's service that I will go out of my way to recommend against your company to anyone who is even remotely thinking of buying a computer. My brother who is a computer expert is asked by at least a dozen people a year on what computers to purchase and he is just as disappointed in how my order has gone. He has told me he will also recommend against Vigor to anyone from now on.
Vigor needs to fix its production and shipping timeline. And you need to at least allow people to talk to you on the phone. If there is any delay in the process letting the buyer know should be a requirement not an option.
