"I needed a laptop computer with xp professional installed. The newer operating systems would not run our sewing machines. The sewing machine manufacturer did not have any updated drivers for windows 7 which all the other manufactures are shipping with their laptops. "Bought a laptop from Vision. I was away on business, when I got back the next week I opened the box and it was not as advertised. Sent mail that day to Vision. I had entered my home phone number but for some reason apparently did not hear the phone ring as they claim they called right back. So I waited about 2 weeks looking for an email or a call (which I apparently missed). Finally I called them and after a morning of runarounds between sales and support, was finally told it had been too long (24 days since order) to return it. They did come up with a solution (external device to replace the missing functionality) that was in my mind too expensive on my part (~$50 modem and store credit from them in exchange for not getting my own modem and a cheaper notebook). All that being said their solution should get it to work.
Still think they are an OK company based on previous history, but you had better check your order the day you get it because they stick to the disclaimer on their web site that they are not responsible for the description of the goods and evidently the FTC 30 day return rule does not apply to incorrect descriptions of items."
