I received a NEW air circulator (the EXO5 "heavy duty" model) because I wanted it in my garage. You know, a place where things fall, tip, get bumped, etc.
Well, the little clamp cracked and the fan fell. And instead of the case cracking as I expected, the fan blade broke. The cheap plastic fan blade! Need parts for your Vornado product? Good luck.
I'm giving two stars because their products are pretty good but not as good as 15-20 years ago. I'm deducting 3 because of a lack of support (both customer service and parts) and the diminished quality. For the money, buy 3 of something else."

"I have 2 older model Vornado fans. I needed the instruction manuals to try to clean and fix the fans. One had broken clips on the front of the fan so it kept falling off. That fan also had rust on the stand from being used in the garage. I chatted with a customer service rep on the website. She was able to send a new fan front and a new stand sent to me free of charge. Apparently they have a lifetime warranty. WOW! Very nice chat with Jenny. Will not hesitate to buy Vornado again. Rare customer service in this day and age. "
"I bought a Vornado 41in tower fan from Lowes. After about 2 years the fan died. I called up the customer support 800 number, which was answered by a real human and in 5 minutes. After a quick check of the serial number, the customer service rep told me that the fan comes with a 5-yr warranty and that they would ship me out a new unit. Great products backed by outstanding warranty and customer service!"
"Bought two air filter units from them. One of the unit stop functioning about a month into usage. Contact customer service via email requesting RMA for exchange/refund. A week has gone by and nada. The product is good but customer service is negligible. Vornado gets a poor rating for now but will write retraction if the issue is resolved in a timely manner. Will also notify BBB for complaint."
"I bought a Vornado fan from a different site (woot!) and within a week my wife had tripped over it. One of the fan blades had broken off.
I emailed customer service at Vornado.com , asking where I could purchase a new blade for my fan. To my surprise Paula at vornado replied to me "I would be happy to send you a blade at no cost. What is your address?"
I was so impressed with their service I had to write a review for them. I know in the future when I do need another fan it will be another Vornado."
