"The order I placed was filled and the product was delivered exactly as promised. The price was lower than competitors and shipping was free. Thank you!"
"I recently placed a Online order with WDC after contacting them regarding availabity of stock, shipping date, and carrier.
I received accurate information on all counts, the GE Cafe Series cooktop was shipped exactly as promised, and FedEx held their end of the sale by providing two day service to my home.
The price for the cooktop was very competitive, shipping was free, and I could not have asked for better service.
I would not hesitate to make further purchases with Warehouse Discount Center. They came through with 100% satisfaction from this customer."
"Nasty shipping company arrangement. You won't get accurate notice of arrival date - I was told it would ship on day x with two to three days transit time (received this notice on the 6th). It arrived a day before day x (on the 6th), which would normally be great, but then the shipping company (R and L in this case) gives you two days to accept delivery, between 1-5, and then starts charging you $61 a day storage, or $200 plus return shipping charges to refuse the delivery. This in my book was enough to warrant a dispute and litigation - the deilvery requirement is so aggressive I suspect lots of folks get extorted for the $61+ in fees. Won't be doing business here again, irrespective of the pricing. WDC owes me for the hoops I had to jump through to make this work. Only a once in a blue moon review writer, so I'm pretty annoyed to take the trouble of a review."
"INTERNET USERS AND BUYERS BEWARE
Warehouse Discount Center is what is wrong with the world.
They denied my card then suggested I use their fax machine ordering system, I faxed my info (they told me it would be safe) to buy a refrigerator from them. I've had the card for years, it had no current credit against it and I used it all over the internet never having had a problem.
Well about 3 hours after they got my info via fax someone had used my cashback money to purchase something online and they tried to transfer money using my card, thankfully the cc company caught that.
Anyway when I told them there may be a problem on their end they turned around and cancelled my order treating me like I was the problem.
This company has zero integrity, refused to even consider that the problem is on their end (FAX MACHINE ORDERING DUH) and in the end punished me for trying to help them protect themselves and all us customers.
INTERNET USERS AND BUYERS BEWARE, WAREHOUSE DISCOUNT CENTER MAY HAVE SECURITY ISSUES AND IN FACT DOES HAVE INTEGRITY ISSUES."
"I ordered a hood vent from Warehouse Discount Center. The product arrived via FedEx shipping in a reasonable time. The box did not seem to be damaged in shipping. After opening the box I found that the hood had a bent corner on it. It did not seem possible to have that kind of damage from the condition of the box. Warehouse discount center will not take any responsibility for their product. They state that because we signed for the product upon delivery, that the condition is not their responsibility. They say to take the issue up with FedEx. The hood vent is useless. I am out the money and Warehouse Discount center walks away from the entire situation."
"Worst internet purchase I've ever made! Appliance arrived damaged and I got absolutely no help from WDC. Next time, I'll be going to a local brick and mortar store. It's not worth the money you think you're saving. In the end, I ended up having to eat the cost of a $800 appliance. Avoid WDC at all costs."
"DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
I had ordered my refrigerator 11/26/12. I was told that it was in stock, but then I kept getting emails that it will be shipped out 12/11/12, then 12/19/12, then after 12/26/12, and the last one after 1/3/13. Horrible, and yet it only took them two days to charge my card. I canceled my order. Never again will I purchase anything from this site. I had moved to a new house and living over 2 weeks without a refrigerator is terrible."
"They sent me a product that differed in color from the item displayed on their site. Several photos of the product were on the site and the product I received was a completely different color scheme, so it did not match our other kitchen appliances. No where in the product description did it make reference to anything that would have indicated the product color could differ from the photos. They assumed no responsibility and wanted me to pay to ship it back AND absorb a 20% restocking fee."
"site is great and prices are awesome. No problems whatsoever."
"I bought a new house in May 2012 and needed new appliances. I chose a stove, and 2 refrigerators from the online site, printed the information, and went to the store. The sales people said that one of the refrigerators was discontinued, but he could sell me a different one with an ice maker (which he argued with me about, saying the online one didn't have an ice maker, even though it clearly stated that it did) for the same price. I agreed to this, a $2400 refrigerator, and a stainless GE stove. When I paid, he said he would have to increase the delivery charge because he was matching the internet price, otherwise it would be curbside delivery and no install. I wanted the appliances installed, so I agreed to pay the extra cost ($100).
The stove took a while to come in, so the items were just delivered today. The delivery men said no installation was included. Imagine my surprise when I called the store and they completely denied telling me installation was included. The salesperson asked to speak with the delivery driver, and since I was on conference call, I heard exactly what he told him. He told him to charge me on the spot for the install. The driver asked how much and the salesman said $85, $45 for delivery and $40 for parts. Then when he got off the phone with the drive and spoke to me again, he said he could do me a favor and charge me $85 to install the stove on the spot if I wanted. I already paid $100 for install and I had already paid for delivery, which he apparently wanted to charge me again for.
Hopefully anyone else reading this won't fall for this later. The customer service after the sale is terrible here, pay the small amount extra somewhere else and save yourselves the headache of dealing with this place! If you do decide buy from this store, go over the paperwork in advance with a fine tooth comb and be sure install on each appliance you buy is written out in the contract."
"I purchased an electric double wall oven and a gas stovetop from Warehouse Discount Center -- two separate transactions.
The double oven was first. Even though I selected free shipping, Warehouse Discount Center sent it via freight truck - bonus! The local shipper couldn't get his semi down our country road, so I had to meet him a block away and load it into the back of my mini-van. He wouldn't let me open it before signing for it, but the shipment looked to be in good shape. And the guy loaded it into my van for me. In any event I was satisfied with the transaction. The oven arrived in good condition and works as it should.
The stovetop came via FedEx, which was a little disconcerting, but perhaps only because I had been spoiled by the careful freight truck delivery of the oven. The stovetop was in good condition and works just fine - so no complaints there either.
Overall, I was very happy with both transactions. I did a lot of shopping around before purchasing my new appliances for my new kitchen, and Warehouse Discount Center definitely had some of the lowest prices -- obviously, they had the lowest prices on my oven and my stovetop! I got GREAT deals, compared to the local shops like Lowe's, Home Depot, or Sears."
"BUYERS BEWARE!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
I purchased a new microwave from them, and it took 3 weeks to arrive. Once it arrived, I opened it and plugged it in. It was broken. Since they were not open at the time I called the next business day and was told that since I opened it I would have to call GE to fix the microwave myself. I tried to tell them the item arrived damaged, and they were just rude and insisted that the only solution was to call GE. They do not state anywhere in their return policy that consumers cannot return defective items. Supervisors never return my calls, and I have disputed the charge with my credit card company. They are the worst company and should DEFINITELY be charged with fraud!"
"I ordered a dishwasher with "white glove" service that was supposed to ship two weeks after I ordered. 7 weeks later the dishwasher arrives and I'm told that "white glove" means that they will place the dishwasher in any room of my choosing and will unpack, i.e. no install. Since this "service" had zero value, I told them to just drop the dishwasher in my garage.
I'm now doing battle to try and get a refund for my "white glove" service."
"Suggestion, if you are thinking ordering from WDC and having the items shipped to you, don't, pay the extra money and buy local. This one may cost me $1045.00. Four appliances were shipped to me, of which a range had been damaged by a fork truck. The damage to the box was concealed under a large amount of shrink wrap that was used to wrap a microwave to the top of the range box, and was not visible at delivery. There was also a large amount of powder/dust on the range and inside the corner of the box where the hole was. This should be considered concealed damage, according to their own policy, and they should have issued an R.M.A, but upon speaking with their claims rep, I was told that shrink wrap does not count as packaging, the damaged was considered freight damage, and I had to file a claim with the carrier.
The carrier denied the claim stating that they had not shrunk wrapped the items together and that the hole may have already been there and concealed by the shrink wrap WDC had placed on the box. I then sent all of the information and pictures I had sent to the carrier, to WCD. I called the claims rep and told her what the carrier was denying my claim. Even though the damage in the pictures was clearly caused by the fork of a fork truck, and common sense would say that the amount of powder/dust in the box had accumulated over some time, I was told I was S.O.L. This one may cost me just less than 14 times the $150.00 discount I got ordering from WDC, if I have to buy another range, and eat the cost of this one. What a deal!!!!

"My experience: Bought a Dishwasher from them, it was much cheaper than other better known sites; I should have known something wasn't right.
They delivered it and it had a big dent on the front door panel.
They would not listen to my complaint, told me to take it with the shipper because it was their fault (as if I had chosen the shipper). Anyway, long story short, they didn't take any responsibility.
I think that's what they do, they ship damaged goods (hence the cheap price) and then leave with the problem. I had to buy a replacement door for $150…plus de hassle…much more expensive at the end!
If you reject the shipment (which I didn't because I didn't notice the damage until I finish opening the box, by which time the driver had left) they will slam you for re-stocking fees.
Note that they don't participate in any customer feedback program (like this one) there is a reason for that.
