"Response to missing items was not good"
"Update: I finally recieved the remainder of the first shipment with no further problem. I ended up emailing the owner about not recieving the stick of memory and not getting a call tag for the motherboard they miss shipped me. Someone called that day and said that the memory has been backordered and she had to check on something and asked if it was ok if she called back in a couple of minutes. This was yesterday afternoon and I still haven't heard back. I sent yet another email asking what was going on today, and haven't gotten a response on that either. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I strongly recommend staying away from this company and the others that are associated with Central Computers.

Didn't have any problems in the past when I've ordered just cables from them. The last two orders have been nightmares for me though. The first one I ordered a motherboard & Ram combo, psu, cooling fan, cable, and thermal paste. I received the psu, cable and the motherboard pretty quickly. However I didn't get any email notification that the other items were backordered and the motherboard turned out to be the wrong board. After not getting any response to my emails, I called and after a little over 2 hours I finally got to talk to someone. I explained the situation and he said that he would take care of it right away by shipping the correct one and sending a call tag to pick up the old one. They did get the correct motherboard out to me, but they've never did the call tag to pick the other motherboard up. When I was on the phone I inquired about the backordered items and was told that they would be in a few days. I still haven't heard anything else about them. I also placed another order a few days after this one and ordered a network cable, ram and DVD software. I've received the cable and software, but no ram. I'm worried about this because their website says that the order has been completed, even though I haven't received all the items. I haven't been able to get through to them on the phone, and they have not returned any of my emails. From every thing I've read today, it sounds like they get busy, but this level of customer service is ridiculous. "

"I've made two purchases from this company and both have been a real hassle. The fist one I purchased a full tower case and it was delived late and damage and after many hours on the phone and unawsered e-mails an employee by the name of Cameron took care of itfor me. So I thought that I give them another try and ordered another case a mid tower. I ordered it on 3/8/02 it has been ready to ship since 3/11/02 I have been repeatedly e-mailing but get no reply you can't get though on the phone but I did find another number and did leave voice mail with Eric Hull (THE COMPANY OWNER)1 ***-***-**** ext789 and did get a return call with in an hour and was told that my order would be shiped out today 3/13 and that I would receive a e-mail conformation FedEx tracking number. But that did'nt happen. Last week I post two comments at Resellerratings and read hundreds more that were negative now I only see a few.

"Prices are great, contacting them is unlikely. one part on backorder, yes i can handle that, but shipping wrong parts which has happened to me 2 out of 3 times first time i ordered 256 megs of memory, i only got 128 megs, this last time i ordered the silver rounded cables, they sent me the blue, as of yet have i got a reply back"
"Ordered 5 sticks of 128 MB SDRAM from this company and it was backordered. Approximately 4 weeks later we received the shipment; however, instead of my 5 stick of 128 MB SDRAM I received 1 stick of 64 MB SDRAM. I called and told them what happened in January and they assured me they would resend the order and make it right. Again 3 more weeks go by and nothing, so we called again and this time I spoke to the customer rep manager who informed me that the person I spoke to before was no longer with them and that he could not make my order good on the 5 sticks of 128 MB of SDRAM but would have to refund my money. This was February 8th 2002. As of today still our credit card has not been credited for this malicious mess up. We have tried many times to call but either get a voice message that states they are unable to take calls in the customer center or a fast busy signal. Oh! One more thing to note is we were told that since the price went up on the SDRAM from when we originally purchased and paid in full for it that they could not send us the sticks of SDRAM....Hummmm Glad my company does not work like this or we would be out of business!!!!"
"Ordered a Motherboard and processor combo. Only received the MB was told there was a typo on the website and processor is not included and and would get a full refund. Called numerous times only got through once and wrote numerous unanswered e-mails still waiting for a refund to my credit card 6 months later"
"I have had a few not so great experiences with this company, in that orders have been delayed a full week at a time, but I do keep coming back, and I believe they are making an honest effort to get better. I like their prices and selection, and their web site is easy to use to order things. It can be impossible to reach them by phone, and emails do go unanswered for several days. If you can afford the wait time, they are a great place to do business. Also, if you get a hold of a guy named Cameron, he can make things happen for you. I will continue to do business with these guys, and if I run into delays, I send an email to cameron@webuildpcs. I get the feeling that they are just swamped at times, but want to do the right thing.
