To their credit, they identified the error right after they shipped but what was frustrating was that they did not immediately send out the correct item. Instead I had to wait until I received the wrong item, then reach out to them (twice) in order to get them to send out the right contacts (along with RMA info to return the other). It took too long to get the right contacts!!"
"I ordered my daughters contacts and paid immediately, on a Friday. By Monday the status said "ready to ship" and it also said that Tuesday and Wednesday. I finally chatted with someone on Wednesday who informed me that they had screwed up and removed my order. He assured me he was having them sent to the warehouse and shipped out that day, with a change of 3-5 day shipping. Guess what, they weren't shipped until Thursday. Were they going to notice that my ordered was removed and keep my money? No email, no correspondence. Now here I am WAITING for my daughters contacts when Friday it said they were trying to ship them out the same day. AND I paid $18 for "handling". So NOT happy with this site!!!!"
“Thank you for reviewing your purchase with WebEyeCare. We are not quite sure what you mean by "Removed my order and kept my money." At no point in time was your order removed from our system. Your order was placed on Friday the 19th and verified on Monday the 22nd with the prescription provided for the order.
Unfortunately due to a processing error the parameters from the prescription were not placed into the order before it was sent to our shipping department. With out the prescription parameters our shipping department could not fill it and the order was sent back to our processing team on the 24th to be corrected. It was on that same day you spoke with a representative on chat who advised you the order was being sent to the shipping department that day.
You were not emailed regarding the order because we were not aware of an issue with the order. When the issue was brought to the attention of our processing team it was not felt to be something you needed to be informed of as it was a simple correction to place in the missing data so the order could be shipped.

"This is my first experience with WebEyeCare and I am thoroughly impressed! I placed my order on the website for contact lenses for myself and my husband on Sunday evening. I emailed our prescriptions to WebEyeCare on Tuesday morning. On Wednesday afternoon I received an email with my shipping information and tracking number. I went to the mailbox on Thursday morning and was happily surprised to find our contacts had arrived already! I didn't pay for upgraded shipping and never expected to receive them this quickly. “Thank you for reviewing your purchase with WebEyeCare. We understand your frustration and do apologize for the inconvenience. It is standard procedure to have the incorrect product returned prior to new product being shipped.
Our records show we did advise you on both occasions that once UPS showed movement on the prepaid return label we provided the correct product would be shipped.
UPS updated us on April 29th that the product was on its way back to us. On that same day the correct product was shipped and will arrive to you tomorrow the 2nd.
