"While the store is currently rated in the mediocre range, my experience in dealing with them was great. You can get hold of people on the phone (VERY IMPORTANT, and they resolved a mistake I made concerning my prescription when I ordered. They even called ME after the order to let me know when I would receive the contacts, and to confirm that everything was ok. They seem to be going the extra mile to get their ratings up.

"Very bad experience. The only reason I did not file a complaint with the BBB is that I eventually got the lenses--25 days after ordering. They charged my credit card within two days of my order, before they had even contacted my eye doctor to confirm the prescription. (I confirmed the date of confirmation with my eye doctor). The one time I did get hold of someone, I asked about this. Their response? Of course we charged your credit card, we had to order your lenses from the manufacturer, didn't we? E-mail questions went unanswered for days at a time, and they never returned my four separate voice messages. When they do respond via e-mail, most of the information in the e-mail is misleading if not an outright lie. One of the e-mails said that you could chat instantly with a CSR by clicking on the chat button on their site. No such link exists. When the lenses did ship, the e-mail confirmation indicated that I could "click on the link" and would be taken to their web site where I could track my shipment. Once again, no such link exists on their site. After two e-mails and a voice message, I got a response that finally told me what the tracking number was and that I needed to go to UPS' web site to track. Huh? That was easy enough, of course, but once again belied what had been written in their e-mail messages.
After three weeks of waiting for the lenses, I sent a request asking for an ETA. They wrote back after three days telling me that the lenses had been on partial back-order and that they would ship them as express mail at no additional cost to me. This too was a lie. They sent the lenses by UPS, same as all other shipments they make. They simply sent me a shipment e-mail three days after they had already shipped the lenses, to make it look as though they had expressed them to me. I have never been charged for something I have ordered on-line until the time it has been shipped by the reseller...NEVER. Every single thing about this web site and in fact this company is misleading. My guess is that it is a one-man operation with some clever automation to make you think there are more people. That wouldn't matter, though, if he had good business practices."
"This store is the crappiest store I have ever shop online. They screwed up my order twice. They take very long to response. I sent in a complaint and it has been more than 20 hrs with no reply. And when they send a fix order, it was incorrect and there is no return stamp for the wrong crap they sent me. Am I expected to pay the return shipping out of my pocket for their problem?? Highly recommended: do not shop here. There are lots of other site to buy contact lens or buy from a local store."

I was charged right away for the order but then received an email one week later saying the lenses were on backorder and would be delivered in 7-10 days. 10 days rolled around and still no lenses. When I called, I was then told it would be 1-3 weeks and they "had no idea" when it would be shipped. Cancelled immediately after that. The customer service reps are unprofessional and clueless and customers should not be charged until the item is shipped in my opinion. I highly recommend NOT buying from Webeyestore.com."
