"I placed an order back on 12/20/09. I ordered two boxes of contact lenses (one box for each eye). I received my order with only one box of lenses. I contacted customer service via e-mails and phone. The only time that I heard from them was on 1/8/10 indicating that they were investigating into the matter. I never heard from them since then. I e-mailed them requesting a follow-up and also left a voice mail message on the toll free number but got no response. I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I still have one box of lenses with me. I was advised by my credit card company to return the other box but I was afraid that they will never issue a refund. I am planning to order the other box from a reputable contact lenses online store. "

"I placed an online order 3-8-10 for 12 pairs of contact lenses, all of which were shown as "In Stock" on the order page. I promptly received an e-mail confirming and thanking me for the order. I then received two more e-mails on 3-8-10 notifying me that they were attempting to verify my prescription through my Optician. A few hours later, still on 3-8-10, I received yet another e-mail stating that my prescription had been confirmed. On 3-9-10 I received an e-mail stating that my contact lens order had been completed and shipped. No shipping information was given and the status of my order at their website was "Processing". On 3-18-10 I still had not received my order, so I sent an e-mail to ****@**** asking for information regarding my order. I got no response. On 3-19-10 I sent a second request for shipping information to ****@****, this time threatening to dispute the charges on my credit card if I didn't receive my lenses within 24 hours. They responded to this e-mail with, "Dear Valued Customer, Your order was shipped 0n 3/18. Thank you for choosing Web Eye Store!" I wonder if they're giving me the correct information this time or are they just trying to buy more time so I don't cancel my order? I will update this when and if I receive my contact lenses.

They certainly deceived me with the information concerning stock and shipping. It also took a threatening e-mail to get a response. Will I ever do business with this company again? I seriously doubt it.

"So far so good! Site easy to navigate. Received notice of shipping on New Years Day! When I go on-line to check my order, it said "processing" while e-mail said "shipped"! Keeping my fingers crossed! As a follow-up, I received three more "order shipped" notices. Lenses ordered 12/31; order arrived 1/6 or 1/7. Excellent considering a holiday and a weekend included in that time. Boxes completely sealed and prescription correct! Would definitely order from this reseller again. Rebate form included which was for company but not my lenses; link to company website led to another $30 rebate form.

Reordered a six-month supply in December 2010. Completely satisfied. Preparing to place yet another order with complete confidence as soon as my practitioner and I are satisfied with changes she has made.

"Originally ordered 6 boxes of right eye. The company took the liberty upon themself to change my order to 3 boxes of each the right and left eye. Upon receiving the boxes I noticed 2 of the boxes were open coincidentally it was the left eye which is the one the company took the liberty of sending on their own.I contacted the company explained the mistake and mentioned the two boxes were open. They asked me to send the 3 boxes back and they would exchange them for what I originally ordered which was ONLY the right eye. After recieving the my return I got a call from a representative telling me that unopened boxes cannot be returned. I explained that was the way I recieved the boxes which was their mistake for even sending the left eye to begin with. After several attempts to contact the company with no response I conclude the whole thing was fraudulent to begin with. Decide for yourself... The co. sent open box(es)of contacts that I did not order and was unwilling to send replacement boxes to correct their mistake. Unwilling to callme back as well. I do not recommend using this company for anything... BUYER BEWARE!"

"UPDATE: The owner called and apologized. He offered free shipping and a 10% off next order, which I used for my wife. A good company will attempt to correct things that went wrong and the attempt was made. I would make sure an item is in stock before ordering from them.

Items not always in stock and slow shipping times: I ordered $300.00 worth of contacts on Sep 16 and used 3-day shipping. Nowhere on their site does it indicate that they do not actually stock their products. I contacted them on Sept 23 and they told me they shipped on Sep 23. It is now Oct 2 and I received an e-mail that they shipped on Oct 1.

"The first time I ordered from them I had no problems. The second time after 10 days, they still had not shipped my contacts, when I tried to call their customer service line no one answered, and when I tried to use their live online chat, it wasn't working. However, once I did finally get someone on the phone, they did try to make things right and shipped my order overnight. So, if you're feeling lucky, take your chances. There's no denying that they have good prices."

"Great service. Recommend using them.
I ordering two boxes of lenses and shortly thereafter I've got a call from their customer service. They told me that the BC parameter I've entered is incorrect (manufacturer doesn't make lenses with such parameter) and advised me to verify with the doctor giving me two most likely choices. They contacted my optometrist also and verified the prescription information for accuracy - unbelievable, they actually did it. I've been back and force with them and the doctor several times to streamline the information before my order was correct. I was impressed how they handled it and felt a personal touch. I've got lenses within a few days. Will use them next time for sure.

"A V O I D !!!

I ordered two boxes of contact lenses from webeyestore.com. The lenses I received were not what I ordered. Apparently the verification fax from my eye doctor did not match what I had ordered. Webeyestore.com made no attempt to contact either my eye doctor or myself to find out why there was a discrepancy. They simply substituted lenses of their choice and sent them to me. I had to pay out of my own pocket to return these lenses to webeyestore.com in exchange for what I was told would be store credit. Almost four weeks after I paid to return the lenses I received an email from webeyestore.com stating that I would be getting a refund on my credit card and not store credit. I now how to wait several billing cycles to see if I actually do get a refund. And of course they would not refund the $6.95 I had to pay for original S/H so I'm out that money as well.

Webeyestore.com seems like an amateur operation. Very poor all-around.

"At first when I spoke to a representative I was told that one of my items had shipped while the other was on backorder (made to order contact lens), and I received a confirmation email stating this. While I understood that the specialty lens would take about 3 or 4 weeks to arrive, I was told that the other lens had shipped. When my package did not arrive, I was worried, but after speaking with a friendly gentlemen from Web Eye Store, it turned out that the entire shipment had been placed on hold, and the info I was initially given by a young lady was incorrect. It was a bumpy start for me as a new customer, but communication errors happen all the time. Just make sure to ask about the shipping arrangements if one of your items is on backorder. The people are very friendly and willing to help."
