"I asked WCS to recommend a shaving brush for my holder. I gave them the dimensions and even a picture. No response.
Then I ordered a razor that turned out to be way too mild. I asked what could be done (return, a more aggressive head, etc.).
No returns on anything used. Find, but what about other options? No response.
WCS claims they are committed to customer satisfaction. Right. Don't even waste your time with these clowns."

"I get a great razor from West Coast Shaving. I used to buy those overpriced multi-blade razors that never did the job properly. But I went back to my trusty double edge razor. Now I have the perfect shave. Thank you so much for a fantastic product!"

"I ordered the Dovo "The Gentleman" 5/8" straight razor and the item arrived as described so no problem there. The problem is with the honing that was done to the blade. The edge was so bad that it was impossible to shave with this razor. Customer service said that they would replace the razor with a like kind Dovo, but sorry, they don't have any Dovo's on hand... all sold out. And if I wanted to send it in to have it rehoned it would be 4 weeks to get it back because of the back log. I then sent the razor off to a reputable company and here is what they said "... it has to be the worst professionally honed razor I've ever seen..." Under a microscope the edge was beveled at a 45 degree angle making it impossible to strop the blade and get any kind of edge that would cut hair like a straight razor should. My opinion: stay away, far away from West Coast Shaving."

"Credit card was charged and I have never received an email confirming my order and when I call during business hours nobody answers except for their automated system. No return call or anything. Said everything is in stock and they obviously have my email because I did get a email from buy safe. Not sure why they wouldn't answer their phone or send out order confirmation emails along with a tracking number since everything was in stock."

"beware. it amazes me how they can have such a good rating. my purchase started with the owner not wanting to honor an internet price. Than when i received the merchandise a shaving brush was dirty and banged up. the stand was not a proper fit for this brush either. i was also promised some cream samples which never came . after a few discussions with their customer service i was leaving on holiday and was told that i could be taken care of when i returned. after i came home i tried to contact them and never received an answer. no way i would want to do business with them ."

"I've recently made 2 orders at West Coast Shaving. Both went well. Shipping on the first order was extremely fast, and the second order was about average. The website is very nice. Checkout with PayPal was a bit cumbersome. I think I had to enter my address twice. Overall, West Coast Shaving seems to be a very good seller. I'll likely be back in the future.

"I placed an order and it was shipped quickly. When it arrived the aftershave had leaked in the box. The item was well packaged so I don't think it was their fault. I contacted them just to give them a heads up so they could check lids when they were shipping. I did not expect anything else from this contact. They replied to my email the same day (Saturday) and offered to send me another bottle of aftershave. It was discovered that the aftershave I ordered had been discontinued. They offered to send another item or refund my money. I choose another item that was less expensive. They refunded the difference. I did not expect anything from my first contact. I was surprised when they offered a replacement item. Then they gave me the refund for the difference. They really went above and beyond any of my expectations. I am more than happy and will continue to buy from them. I really think they did too much. I highly recommend them. Their customer service is second to none."

"I'm a wet shaver from Cairo, Egypt. Wet shaving and skin care is my hobby, after all you only got one face to take care of :-) That makes me an excellent customer for West Coast Shaving, I just can't stop browsing their store. Their range of products are fantastic, price are very good for those lovely premium products, Customer care is fast, very friendly and always tries to please the customer.

One of their most important services for me are shipping service. I have to buy all my shaving supplies from USA, UK and Germany, ship it all over to Egypt. Here is what's West Coast excels at. They have 3 shipping plans for my country (first class, priority and express using USPS services). I can calculate my shipping charges at my shopping bag page easy and fast.

Using express mail to ship to Egypt, is somewhat pricey but very reasonable for the service I get. Items all packed well and arrives from USA to Egypt in less than 4 days!! That qualifies as excellent in my book :-)
