Poor Customer Service

"Purchased super-automatic, had a 10% discount code that i received for signing up to their marketing list but the site was not accepting it. I emailed customer service and they simply stated policy why they could not offer discount after payment was received. :-("

Whole Latte Crud!

"We have two different instances that have left us completely dissatisfied with this company.
The first episode was when our Gaggia Baby Twin that purchased in September of 2015 went Tango Uniform before six months of use. One morning the automatic dispensing button(#2) decides to stop working and we actually had to shut off the machine with the on/off button on the back of the machine to get it to stop dispensing! The manual button also would not work. So we tried to reprogram the auto button and nothing. When we called them to describe exactly what had transpired they said the repair dept. felt it had to do with the flowmeter, which would've been covered under warranty. Now I am very leary about shipping anything back all the way to Rochester, NY due to our cost, only to find out that it's NOT covered under warranty, THEN having to pay to repairs and return shipping. But they felt it was a flowmeter problem, so we packed it up sent it back. Two weeks later they contacted us through email and told us it was owner/operator error and it was working fine! This is where the trouble starts with this company, anytime we'd ask them if there was anything they could do to ease the cost of this entire debacle---nothing! They would not cover the cost of anything, even the $29 return shipping to see to a happy customer. We were very upset with the fact they accused us of operator misuse/error when we clearly had done nothing wrong. We obviously could program and run the machine properly due to almost 6 months of flawless operation. I called customer service and asked if they could please cover or reduce our charges and they simply referred to "company policy." I asked if I could please have an address that I could voice my displeasure to the owner and I was told, "He doens't take personal mail." Wow, not a good way of keeping customers happy in our opinion. They have zero customer service and really don't seem to care about keeping customers.
The last interaction with them occurred just a couple days ago when our so called "repaired" machine, three days after getting it back, went Tango Uniform AGAIN! This time though the actual brew boiler stopped working. We could steam but we couldn't brew HOT coffee. So my husband called customer support and they said to open up the machine, to which he replied, "Won't that void the warranty?" and they said "No." So he opened it up and noticed a glaring mistake that the repairman overlooked: He had not connected a male/female connection wire, which obvioulsy worked the brew boiler. But when I asked the customer support person how much they were willing to pay US for repairing it, she promptly replied,"Oh, that must have come loose during shipping." And these people are Gaggia certified Repairmen?? That was the straw that broke the camels back, Whole Latte Love refuses to take responsiblity to anything when it is clearly their fault. Inferior work, inferior customer service, and absolutely no desire to keep customers happy or throw them a bone, such as reducing a repair fee or shipping fee. They will never have any of our business again.

Pleased again

"I have been buying my coffee from Whole Latte Love for over a year. When the time came to purchase a new espresso machine, I purchased from them. The price was great and delivery was as I have experienced in the past about 5 days coast to coast. They have a very good selection of beans and their price on Illy, which is one of my favorites is very good especially if you purchase six or more and when they have a coupon which is at least once a month.

The machine I purchased was a Jura S9 one touch to replace my 12 year old S9. The Jura machine is a workhorse and I like this new version more than my trusty old S9.
