"Initial service on the order was typical for a quality online retailer, and I received the product ordered within the specified time.

I did have a problem in that one of the units ordered was defective. Wholesale replaced it quickly, but I was bothered that I had to pay return shipping when I'd already been negatively impacted on my schedule by receiving a defective unit. It isn't technically Wholesale's fault since it was a manufacturing error, but as the retailer they stand between me and the manufacturer and better service would be to cover the return costs to the customer and negotiate something to pass those up the line.

Wholesale responded to the review above with the valid comparison that it would be equivalent to the local in-store retailer not sending someone to your house to pick the item up. I understand the point, but I have also had more than one on-line retailer provide UPS return labels for returns should there be a problem with the purchase. Still, I understand that these are ultimately costs that pass to the customer via higher prices, and I'm not at all going to downgrade Wholesale for this issue. They had the right product at a good price, and overall handled the issue promptly and professionally."

"I called to ask if shipping via 1st class mail was possible. I was told that it was. At checkout, it wasn't. The items that I purchased could have been shipped in a small, padded envelope via 1st-class mail for under $2. Instead, the least-expensive shipping (Priority Mail) cost me $10. $10 for items the size of small LEDs. RIDICULOUS. And, I won't be coming back until the next time I have a gun pointed at my head and have NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE>
