"Ordered online & was sent the wrong jacket."
" was told that I had to return the item, get a refund and repurchase the item. I was ok with doing that until I returned the item and never recieved a credit. I have been waiting on a return for months now. They worst part is that everytime that I call they say they will look into it and will call back. THEY NEVER DO! I will never purchase an item from them again!!!"
"I received a Wilson leather wallet and placed it into service about 3 weeks after Christmas. about 3 weeks later the edging that was plastic started coming apart. Within 3 more weeks its a total mess. I've had department store wallets last for years and years.
I'll never even consider purchasing another piece of leather from them. in 2008 when they sold out the should of closed...
I did send a note to their corporate contact us via the web but couldn't send any pics. didn't matter they never replied..

"I ordered a jacket, gloves and a few other things online. I received a confirmation email with an order number. They said that it can take up to 10 business days. The first time I called, the lady hung up on me. The second time I called which was on the 9th day, they did not have the order. The lady said that the order number was wrong. Just TERRIBLE "

"I visited the Wilson's Leather shop in Assembly Row and bought a Michael Kors down winter jacket. Within one week, a seam on the inside of the jacket ripped and out came the down. I went back to the store, and was told my purchase could not be verified without a receipt - not even with the credit card I used to purchase the jacket. I was given a customer service number, which I have called several times in the last week. I have left at least 3 voicemails, and have received no follow-up. Wilson's Leather has unfortunately lost me as a customer. "
"I needed additional sizing information. I wanted to avoid returning (on my dime). I did live chat who gave me the customer care email. I sent 3 emails without a reply. I called and the representative said they would be able to tell me and sent off an expedited request. I was told 24-48 hours for a response by phone or email. Nothing!!! This went on for a month. I wanted a leather coat by Wilson's as I bought one 28 years ago and it still looks new. I decided to order with 1 size above my real size. It was small and tight restricting my arms. The return policy said I could go to the nearest store (51 mile round trip) but I could not get a refund there. Not true! I went to the store to try one on and it was perfect. The sales associates were beyond pleasant and gave me an additional 10% off. I couldn't get the coat I wanted as it was only available online. The employees said they have read the reviews recently and just laughed. Ridiculous. The other irritant about online was when I first saw the coat it was 35% off. When I looked at it a few weeks later it was 50% off with an email stating I had 4 hours and 58 minutes to take advantage of the new discount. I was suckered into it. Ordered. When I was checking the tracking number I saw my coat was now 75% off!!!!
Moral of my story is to go to the store and forget about online."
"I've ordered several leather jackets from WIlson's leather. The quality of all was great! I had to return several since I ordered them online without trying them on and my only beef is that it can take awhile to get your refund. It generally takes between 2 weeks and a month to get your money back but I received it each time! And I LOVE the jacket I kept! I'll definitely order from them again!"
"I ordered on August 27th, but will not arrive until Sept 8th (was Sept 7th, they revised the date). I called Customer Support and asked if they could expedite, since it was for my father's birthday and it would arrive too late, but the customer "care" rep said no and then said nothing else- dead air for an awkward amount of time. They didn't "care" at all!
I've ordered several hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise with Wilson's during a time when their shipping wasn't a concern, but this time I needed a favor and they could have contacted the Shipper to make an exception, but they chose not to.
The package just sits waiting instead.
Bad experience, will not shop Wilson's again."
"I am writing this review to communicate my concerns about Wilsons Leather's ignorance towards its customer base. It was funny when I received an automated email to write a review about a product form Wilsons Leather that I purchased from their website and they canceled the order next day. And, this had happened to a swarm of customers. It takes time and effort to purchase something online too. Inability to deliver the product to the customer if hadn't done enough damage to the company's reputation, asking to review the product finishes it nicely.
I'm sure there are many customers who wouldn't want to waste their time to write a similar comment on Wilsons Leather and simply never order any product from them.
