"My first order experience:

I ordered roughly $2000 worth of supplies for the handful of projects moving through the shop right now. I was fairly certain that all the items I ordered showed that they were in stock, however several days later my order was still in the "Processing" status. I reached out, and was informed that not all the items were in stock and the entire order was on hold until those items came in. No big deal given that a very larger percentage of the items were available. We agreed to split the order and the out of stock items would be shipped separate upon arrival. Overall customer service experience was maybe a 5/10, never had the warm and fuzzy feeling, but felt that was a reasonable solution.

Fast forward we are on day 10-11ish of this order, not a single item has arrived and the order still shows it is in the "Processing" status. Unfortunately their system is not built out enough to go into the order and see what has shipped or not, tracking info for shipped items etc. If compared to a e-commerce retailer like Amazon, this system is lacking significantly.

Overall, I am discouraged to say the least. I run a business, and having confidence in my suppliers is crucial. Currently I have little confidence in woodworker express.

In summary - pricing is competitive, ease or ordering is so-so, speed of processing an order is lacking. My recommendation to fellow woodworkers: If you need the product, and the price is right - order early and don't hold your breath. "
