"I have purchased about 9 identical workstations for CAD design and programming. Xi had higher spec machines with more advanced hardware than Dell or HP, for a much lower price. Xi is willing to build and customize a system with solid state drives and overclocked processors if that suits fits your needs, and by doing so markets a workstation that simply flat out-performs _anything_ offered by the big names. I have worked with Bill and found him to be a real asset in reviewing the final specs and finding places to cut redundant costs.

Support is available, but lacking. Emails are returned in 2 days or more, even for ongoing conversations, and replacements for failed components take 3 days to arrive. On the upside since they use components generally available in the retail market you can swap and replace them without the help of Xi, especially beneficial after the warranty runs out. "

I ordered my machine on 2/7/2009 (it was a Saturday). My machine was shipped on 2/11/2009, and arrived on 2/13/2009; I chose ground shipping. The machine was packed in black foam on all sides (at least 4") and my cpu cooler was surrounded in cardboard and black foam, which kept it from being damaged during shipping.

There were instructions all over the case warning me about the packing material around my cpu cooler and telling me how to remove it safely. They also gave me many extra rails, screws, power adaptors and other items that came with my case/motherboard.

The machine is so quiet I can barely tell it is on; it arrived in flawless condition and runs as cool as ice. It also came clean with no extra junk installed.

After my last computer buying experience this company seems like a dream come true. Their prices are competitive (for the quality you get the price is a steal) and their quality control is second to none.

I would recommend @Xi computer corp. to everyone who is looking for a well priced gaming pc and will purchase all my future machines from them.
