"I order a pre-mod PS2 slimeline with matrix Infinty chip. I read form reviewers it can take awhile if you are ordering the dms chip so I went with the less hassle chip.

I have wiated the 5 - 10 business days today is day 10 and I have not heard anything from the company. I have sent 3 e-mails 2 to shipping and 1 to orders dept. and have not had any responses. On the 5th of June their website went down and it has been down for 3 days now. I even tried to call the phone number off the website I left a message two days ago and have not recieved any word back. If I don't get a response by Friday I will call my CC and report fraud and refund the payment.

This the worse customer serice I have ever recieved. I am very dissapointed since I heard good things about this webitse on resellerratings.com"

"I ordered a premodded pstwo with dms4 pro se.

First off, it took a little over a month for them to get a dms4 pro in stock. I expected as much and was more than willing to wait.

When I got it, it worked with everything. About a month after that, though, it stopped reading my backup dvd games. Everything else works fine, even backup cd games. I emailed xmodd to find out if they'd still honor my warranty or at the very least give me a clue as to what the problem might be. It's been over a week and I still haven't heard anything back from them."

"My experiance was 50/50.

The product is great. I bought a pre-mod PS2. It works like a champ, nothing to complain about. They do excelent and professional work.

It was the fact that I ordered it on 2/26 and recived it on 3/25 is my only issue. They state on the web site that the chip was in stock, and that it would take 5-10 days until the unit shiped. I emailed them 2 10 days later asking why I haven't seen the shipping notice. They responded 2 days later telling me that it was out of stock and would be in early the following week.

I emailed at the end of the following week and got another email a day later stating the same thing, that they still haven't come in, and would be the next week.

Early the next week they emailed me letting me know the chips still did not come in and that I could downgrade to another chip or keep waiting for the one I orriginally orderd.

I downgraded to the Matrix Infinity, and got the unit 3 days later.

I wish they would just have let me know, or stated on the web site that they didn't have them. I would have just switched right away and got it the week I ordered it instead of waiting a month.

So my only complaint would be that they should be a bit more proactive with what they are stating on the web site. It still says they have them in stock and will ship in 24 hours, somethin I know can't be true.

But, even with this issue, I still rate them high and would buy from them again. I've purchaced many electronic/console items from alot of the other known wb sites, and I'd put Xmodd near the top in quality and professionalism. They just need to be a bit quicker on keeping the customer informed on there stock situation.

"OK i ordered a pre-mod ps2 dms4 pro s.e.
do to the fact that dms4 pro was delayed shipment to them they change for a lite
and refunded the difference ordered on the 10 received on the 20
and it worked great for 6 hours then it quit working so i contacted via aim xmodd they said send it back so i did sent back on the 23 received it back fixed on the 30
seeing as how x-mas on the 25 that is very fast service
and they were polite about the problem with the ps2
probably just a lose wire but that kind of thing happens
so in conclusion there work is good
service fast
and there support fast and friendly
unlike most in the pre-mod business

"Xmodd is a great, I place my order on Dec. 11 for a Pre-Modded Playstation 2 w/DMS4 Pro S.E. but due the chip not coming in on time (which was not there fault) and I knew it was on back order to begin with I change my order to a Crystal Chip 1.1 (Lite) Premod on 12/15 which after some research found it to be a better overall chip anyways. I recieved my order on 12/22 and out the box I had no problems it works perfectly and still does.

"Overall experience was a good one. My only complaint was that the seller was offering a deal on his website for a specific system and it took over 2 weeks, after I paid, before he told me that he was waiting for a newer system to swap with the one that I had originally bought when the whole time I was thinking that he was assembling and testing the one I ordered. I do appreciate that he waited to give me a newer model but had I known that the one I bought was not being built from the get go, I would have canceled my order and went somewhere else instead of waiting over a month to get it. The newer one came in on 12/16, (originally ordered and paid for on 11/10) and works great! In the sellers favor however, he did upgrade me to a fast shipping service, free of charge."

"I ordered a pre-modded slimline PS2 w/DMS4 Lite SE from Xmodd a few weeks ago and I got it today. Works great right out of the package, popped in a burned disc and it booted up automatically. One of the great things about xmodd is that they test your system before they send it to you. Do not be alarmed if you order from them and it takes a little while to ship, as they are taking every precaution to make sure your console runs smoothly. Shipping is fast and they responded to ALL of my (sometimes pesky and impatient) emails with complete patience and professionalism. I recommend Xmodd if you don't have the time/don't want to deal with installing a chip yourself. 10/10."

"I have purchased a modded PStwo from Xmodd and I have to say the price was the best on the market even after doing alot of research for about 6 months for the best retailer.
The customer support was awsome they responded within 24 hours to all my questions sometime's even the same day. The only downside which I do understand is it took a couple of days extra to ship my product out because they were a little behind but they reimbursed me by shipping it second day air.
The product has been working awsome so far and is the best investment that I have made, thank you xmodd!"

"I received my product over a month after ordering it. I understand that my chip was stuck in customs so that's not a big deal really. Things like that happen. I was told that I was going to get my product upgraded to 2-3 air and that didn't happen. OK, I'm fine with that.

Paid $20 for UPS shipping but they shipped it using USPS instead. USPS.com shows that my package has been DELIVERED already but I haven't gotten anything at all, not even a slip saying "sorry we missed you". I know that my USPS problems is beyond xmodd.com, but I wouldn't be having them if they shipped it with what they said they would ship it with. and that is UPS.

They were quick to answer my questions but what good is that if I possibly wont get my merchandisenow. Like I said before. I know USPS poor system and management has nothing to do with xmodd.com, but that's the reason why I picked them over another sites... because they show they ship using UPS and not USPS. I hope I do eventually get my product because I am not one to sit there and take it up the *** when I don't get what I'm suppose to."
