I ordered my original set of 8 chairs on Sep. of 2016. I knew that there is a wait time of 8-12 weeks. I should have received them the latest by January of 2017. Well it was some time in Feb. that I received them all, but in horrble status. They were ripped and stained in the shipment. The chairs themselves look nice, but they were all damaged on the way to us. I then reordered them all for a replacement and waited another 12 weeks. This time some time in May of 2017 I received 4 chairs out of 8 that I had ordered and paid in full, which two of them were also missing the rubber pieces under the chairs. So basically only 2 functional chairs after 9 month of wait. I am frustrated so much with their process and DO NOT RECOOMEND them at all. Get your stuff from somewhere else and not YLIVING or YLIGHTING! They are completely dysfunctional.

"YLighting's unusual designs often come with non-standard electrical configurations. I purchased three rather expensive fixtures that we could not use because the unusually deep electrical box could not work in the space we were renovating. Oh well - just return them, right? Because this was one small part of a very big renovation, it took us several weeks to realize this, and YLighting is strict about not accepting returns after just 30 days. It seems they don't want to do business with people engaged in complex projects. Their products are all available from other suppliers, and my designer and contractor will never use them again. "
"Returns are impossible with this company if outside their narrowly defined policy. I ordered a light for a kitchen but renovations pushed install of the lighting beyond their 30-day return policy limit. I did not ask for return, just an exchange with a similarly priced unit that will better fit the space but was rejected. So now I'm stuck with an expensive fixture that is sill in brand new condition, still for sale on their website, but they won't work with me on exchange. Professional design and supply firms understand that construction timelines move, and sometimes fixtures can't be installed immediately. YLighting only seems to care about immediate sale and not future relationship. Be VERY sure the fixtures you order are what you want. You will be stuck with them."
"We ordered a Toto toilet from them on October 3rd, 2016. It arrived broken. They sent out a replacement and it arrived broken too. We didn't want to get a third broken toilet so we asked for a refund. Our bathroom project was delayed because of that. The worst thing is we were stuck with two broken toilets. They told us to hold the toilets and UPS would come out to investigate and pick up the toilets. Nobody showed up after 10 biz days of course. We called them many times trying to get this solved by either picking up by them or disposing ourselves. Eventually someone helped set up a pick up. But the company only picked up one toilet because this was what they were told. We called again and again but they kept telling us they would set up a pick up but nothing happened. They also told us they issued a refund and it would take 5-7 biz days, but it has been more than 7 biz days and we still didn't get the refund. Not sure how it could get five stars in some of the reviews. Our suggestion is to avoid ordering things from this company."

All of my calls were promptly returned and my products were delivered with no issues. I plan to renovate my house with new lighting fixtures and this site has the best prices and assortment for what I will be needing for my modern designs.

"YLighting advertised a sale starting 29Feb with a mailer catalogue to me showing specific fixtures, lamps and discounts. I called and talked with Sales at YLighting a day before the sale about the Tolomeo Classic Lamp that they advertised. The agent checked the item and gave me the earliest time I could place my order for the sale discount. I was not told however until after I placed my order that it would take 4-5 weeks for YLighting to ship the item. At this point, I half expect YLighting to notify me in a few more weeks that the item is no longer available, and to then offer me a substitute fixture. If that is the case, then it is really not worth the effort and insignificant discount to even open YLighting's mail flyer."

"I had the worst problems with this company. They sent my lamp late so I did not need it anymore and when I tried to return it they expected ME to pay for the shipping of he oversized item!!!! They blamed the late shopping on UPS. Worst customer service ever. I asked to talk to q supervisor and I am still waiting for their call. Do not buy here!!!"
"YLighting offers a wonderful selection of lighting products. I was happy to find the 3 lights my architect and I had chosen. I placed the order and was not given any indication that the products had extremely long lead times (10-12 weeks and 12-14 weeks). Most of us are building or doing a reno and want these items yesterday. This lead time = backorder. I wish they would have indicated this on the site or maybe even called me back or emailed me when I called to ask about this lenghtly delay. I found everything I needed elsewhere and advise buyers to beware."

"If I could 0 stars I would. We placed order 4 months ago for 6 outdoor lights that were matching. 4 lights out for 6 eventually came, much later that was promised when I placed the order. 2 bigger lights are still not here. After calling customer service about 2 months they very rudely informed me that those lights are in back order and they will be send in November. Here we are: it's already December, and no lights, or calls from Ylighting. And now I am stuck, since they all were supposed to match I have to wait (maybe forever)!
Don't shop at Ylighting. If you find items that you need on Wayfair go for it. Wayfair has a great customer service and deliver on their promises.
