"I purchased one of their rear drive ellipticals for about $2,700 it has a broken spring on one of the pedals after about 6 months of use they won't respond to any emails they won't answer the phone. There is no customer service I think they've gone under"
"This company is not responsive to service inquiries. It's been a month since I've been trying to contact them. The Chat on their website is even broken. Besides, I never liked the machine. I used it at least 3 times a week but always hated it. It has no stride and clanks and squeaks."
"They pride themselves on their "Best-in-class warranty" when in fact there is no customer service. You cannot get through on their phone # and no response by email. I bought my machine based on the warranty and now that I need it, they left me hanging with an expensive machine that I can no longer use after less than 1 year. They should be ashamed of themselves."
"Customer service is nearly non-existent.
Not only has response to complaints and request for warranty service gone from bad to worse - just as other reviewers note below - but for past several days, not even sales answers their phones.
Service, Shipping and Assembly Voicemail boxes alternate being full. Emails go unanswered. Voicemail messages go unanswered.
The only time I have gotten a response to an issue with my Yowza elliptical is when I happened to catch someone in the office, after repeated calls and messages to voicemail went unanswered. I am on my second warranty issue in a year. Strangely, during both of these instances, the person answering the phone in all three departments - sales, shipping and assembly, service - was the same individual. As of this writing it is Jason Brooks. Last year it was someone else. It took over a week, using all three menu options, to get this Jason on the line. Following our initial discussion it's been a week of unanswered phone calls, messages on voicemail, and emails, attempting to get a technician sent out to complete the repair. One would get the sense, considering that no one answers the phones, even in SALES[!], that this company is on the verge of filing bankruptcy.
Stay away."
"Do not get any product from this company. There customer service is horrible. No one answers the phone except the sales team. I have had issues with springs in their eliptical since i got the machine. Now my machine has been unusable for 2 months and I cannot get anyone to respond to phone calls or emails. Horrible company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM EVER."
"Long story short it took over 5 weeks since submitting my warranty claim to simply have a belt put back on the elliptical which came off. Not to mention I had to threaten legal action to get Yowza to honor their warranty.
I submitted the warranty claim on Feb 19 indicating that the elliptical had no resistance. Feb 20 I receive some sort of automated email indicating a motor had been ordered. Received no email from a person. After a couple days went by, I had to call in to ask what was going on. John Simone answered the call and informed me that he had ordered a new resistance motor and that it would take about 1 week for me to receive the part and a technician would be scheduled to install it at that time. Okay, so I waited.
After a week came and went with no activity, emailed John to inquire on status. I asked whether there was a tracking number since I had not received one. I expressed my frustration with the delay, the warranty claim handling, and lack of keeping customer updated with status. No response.
After no email response, call and leave John a message. No response.
After about another week with no response, and after finding out Yowza has a F rating from BBB I called in to try and speak to Joe Atler. He is no longer the CEO. I wind up talking to Ashley Hall. About 3 weeks had gone by now and I am totally in the dark and received no motor or any communication from Yowza. Emails and calls are unanswered. After making up excuses that John is no longer with the company and that is why I haven't received updates (as if they have no other substitute personnel), Ashley (male) tries to convince me the console is the most likely cause of the lack of resistance of the elliptical. Ashley also used the excuse that they don't have a replacement resistance motor in stock (a common part) and claimed he had no indication on when they would receive one. I had expressed my frustration with the delay and lack of communication. Ashley apologized and rushed me off the phone so he could get the console shipped right away.
After 3 weeks of wait, Ashley decides to ship the part ground shipping and it takes another week to receive. I expressed my frustration that after all this waiting he should have sent it overnight or 2 days shipping. No response. Not to mention that Ashley requested me to install the part even though Yowza is obligated to have a technician repair it. Since it wasn't a big deal, I installed it. This did nothing. Still no resistance.
Emailed Ashley, left him a message. No reply. No call back. Completely unprofessional. I had to go out of my way and keep calling in to try to get a human on the phone. Their voice mailbox is full and not accepting messages. Finally get through to John Barbour. John refused to give me his last name on the phone by the way. Who knows why. I explained to John over a month had gone by. The new console did nothing. He tells me the motor is on a boat coming from Taiwan and it could take 30-45 days to receive. I explained that a reputable company needs to stock common replacement parts and the delay was unacceptable. I asked for my money back given my experience thus far.
John doesn't give me my money back. But does offer to allegedly remove a motor from another unit and send it to me. Did he rush it to me? No chance. He and Ashley who he consulted with decide to send the motor via ground shipping again. Keep in mind, this is a very tiny light weight motor in a small box weighing 0.8 pounds. It would have not been very expensive to at least 2-day the part. But Yowza being as cheap and nonchalant as they are, send the part via economy shipping and I wait another week to receive the part.
The technician calls me after only a couple days after the part was shipped. So he was ready. But we had to wait for snail pace Yowza shipping. Finally today the technician gets here and quickly determines the belt had come off. So the machine could have been repaired 5+ weeks ago had Yowza properly diagnosed the problem. They should have sent a technician initially to troubleshoot the issue, then send necessary parts and schedule a followup visit. But they try to save money by having the customer do some of the troubleshooting repair work, waste everyone's time and money with this shotgun repair approach.
The biggest hassle with all this is they do not bother to return emails or calls. It was only until I threatened to sue them that they finally decided to take me seriously. When I spoke to John with all my complaints, he says "you're not the only customer" which is an unbelievably insulting comment to make. They could care less about customer service. they're not going to stay in business long with this kind of attitude.
The machine is very jerky and made noises from day 1. The belt probably will come off again and I personally don't think it's worth the experience going through what I went through again to get warranty service. So it will go to the dump. Yowza is a joke."
"I bought a YOWZA product 1 year ago. The unit has been broken pretty much for the 1 year that I have owned it. It was damaged in shipment, and never resolved. The repairmen that came initially said he had never seen an issue like this. But I now own it. It has marks all over it and missing pieces still.
I would NEVER recommend anyone buy from this company. They now ignore my emails and requests while the product is still broken. What a mistake buying from an online company like this...."
"I bought "LARGO elliptical" from YOWZA 2 years ago. This is really an awesome product which is light-weight and burns more calories with less effort. One good thing I like about YOWZA is customer service where the rep's will always try to find a solution and help customers in need."
"I live in Montreal, Canada, and I bought the Yowza Sebring treadmill after doing some research. I chose this model because of both good reviews and its folding capability. I ordered it online from the Yowza website. My treadmill was shipped the same day I ordered it, and I received it in 6 days. Assembling was very easy. The treadmill itself is already folded in the box and you need to only fasten some bolts. I was completely satisfied with everything, however there was a problem with the folding mechanism which needed to be fixed (I could use the treadmill the whole time). I posted the problem on their website a technician came to see the machine. Yowza kindly decided to replace it with another new treadmill. Again the new treadmill came in around 5-6 days (from Florida to Montreal, Canada). During this whole time I could use my treadmill and tested it as much as I could. It is a very nice, smooth, and strong machine. A similar machine will cost you more if you want to buy it in Canada. I have used it for 1 hour runs and have changed the incline angle and speed constantly during the run. The machine works perfect and smooth. I really enjoy using it. The support is very good. Yowza support manager (Ashley Hall) is very helpful if you have any problem. In case you have any problem with your machine just contact the support and they take care of it. I totally recommend this product.
Here are some points which you should know before ordering this machine:
1- The company is very fast in shipping the product. If you have not received a tracking # when you placed your order, contact them ASAP because you may receive it before you expect it.
2- They ship with UPS. Make sure have some people to help you because UPS is not responsible to bring the machine into your apartment.
3- It comes in one, heavy box. If you live in an apartment try to assemble it first, and then fold it and take it into the elevator and into your appartment. This way it is much easier.

"Yowza Navarre elliptical matches and machine I have used in local fitness centers. Feedback is immediate. Quality is equal or better than higher priced fitness center machines."
"So far so good. I ordered the elliptical online based on reviews of your product. My wife and I use an elliptical everyday on average of 30 minutes each. Our previous elliptical was a Schwinn. The Schwinn was adequate. We owned it for about 4 years but it began to make annoying sounds which I tried to rectify by tightening bolts and using lubricants. I was finally fed up with the Schwinn and decided to explore new options. I researched all my options and your product seemed to have the best reviews based on my price range. Ordering was simple. Free shipping also helped in my decision along with your warranty. The delivery went smoothly. Delivery was fast and I tracked it the whole way. You have to set up a delivery window due to the product size. Not a problem. Maybe you should let people know how large the box is and that it will not fit in ordinary home doors or stairwells. I had the delivery man put the box in my backyard and took the elliptical piece by piece in to my house. Once again not a problem but it is a two person job. Assembly went smoothly. I must commend you on how all steps are labeled along with separate bags of nuts and bolts for each step. That makes assembly a breeze. We have owned the product for about a month now and have used it daily. It is very quiet and smooth. I hope that after much use that it stays that way. So far I am extremely satisfied with your product, design, and delivery. I have yet had to deal with customer service, which is not a bad thing. I hope I wont have to."
"I have owned a Yowza Navarre elliptical for approximately two years now. It's a good machine, and I use it about five times a week. Originally it was whisper quiet as Yowza describes it, but recently a significant grinding and knocking noise began coming from the rear wheel assembly. I contacted Yowza service to have the problem resolved. They indicated that I was just outside of the two-year warranty period for in-home service, but they would send me the parts that needed to be replaced. After pleading my case, Josh was kind enough to reconsider, and he told me that Yowza would not only send the parts, but they would also dispatch a technician to repair the machine in my home.
I received the parts quickly and a technician was scheduled to come to my home right away. The technician arrived on time and was quick and efficient with the repair. The in-home service is a huge benefit, and I could not be happier with the service I received. Thank you, Josh and Yowza Fitness."
"We ordered the Largo elliptical by Yowza Fitness after doing extensive online searches. We were looking for an economical yet effective machine with a small footprint. Since we live in an apartment we really needed to find a machine that would not bother our neighbors or wake our children when we work out. The Largo is everything we were looking for. It is a well built machine. It is extraordinarily quiet and the footprint is perfect for our small space! We love it! It is easy to assemble and easy to use. It gives a great workout! The delivery of the machine was quick and easy. My husband and I are both very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to those looking for an economical elliptical that has a small footprint and is quiet. My only disappointment is that the programmed workouts don't all display calories burned. They do have a calories burned program though. Minor point, but worth noting. If you are thinking of buying an elliptical, I highly recommend Yowza! "
"Our experience with Yowza fitness could not have gone any more smoothly! We spent approximately 3 weeks dealing with a botched order from another fitness company. Once that was resolved, we quickly purchased our machine from Yowza and it was delivered quickly. The set up of the machine was manageable and we have enjoyed all our elliptical has to offer! We are SO happy to have made this purchase!"
"I recently received my Osprey treadmill from Yowza Fitness and couldn't be happier. I was somewhat apprehensive about ordering it without being able to see it first; but I researched it extensively online and decided it had the features I was looking for, without the bells and whistles that I knew I wouldn't use. The price was reasonable, so I called the company, asked a few questions, and ordered it over the phone. One of the main selling points was the ability of the treadmill to fold up; it will fit through my 30" doorway (a number of other "folding treadmills" would not). The controls are straightforward, and the unit is very sturdy and QUIET! The instruction booklet could be better, but my husband and I were able to put it together without a problem. Fair warning: the box it comes in is quite large and very heavy; fortunately, the UPS delivery person was a big help. I have it in a temporary location now, so my husband folds it up each day (something I would definitely not be able to do on my own, given the unit's weight); but once it gets moved to its permanent location it will stay down. All in all, I'm VERY satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Osprey!"
