"Yay, my guitar arrived this evening! I had been checking my email daily for the shipping notice from FedEx but never got it so was really surprised when it arrived. It is a beautiful guitar--all I expected and more! I had been working outside most of the day, using pliers to take down a chain link fence. When I started to play, both hands started cramping so I couldn’t even enjoy it. I’m just sending this email to let you know that I got it and to thank you for the extras you included with my guitar. The packaging was great and it arrived undamaged. Fast forward one day...Man, this guitar plays nice! I'm no virtuoso by a long shot but I can make all the chords with ease. And the sound! I took it to church this evening to show off to a few of my friends. They were blown away, too! One plays a Martin and the other an Ovation. They said that my Opera model ZAD80CE sounded much better than theirs. I could not believe the sound projection and it wasn't even plugged in! Both of them played my guitar and loved the action. The tone stayed true and buzz-free all the way up the neck. One of them told me that he played several hammer-ons and pull-offs and could hear every one of them distinctly. I love this guitar! "After 2 attempts at learning guitar, I finally decided to give it a third try during the pandemic. I have fairly thick hands and fingers. Ultimately, I did extensive research and discovered Zager Guitars. I live under the motto "go big or go home", and as a result, I purchased the 50th Anniversary Edition. I couldn't be happier! What a joy to play, and sounds amazing!. My instructor agrees. I would say it makes me sound better and allows me to perform much easier than I should as a beginner due to its playability . I can only imagine what an aficionado would sound like! In fact, I loved the full size so much, I recently purchased a travel size in order to keep my new skills and calluses in good condition since I travel extensively.

"I am a novice player, but I wanted to get into a tone wood guitar, so I started looking at various makers. I'm a huge fan of Billy Strings and so Preston Thompson was top of my list. I found Zager's website, and immediately appreciated all the info they had available on how the guitars were made, the differences in set up, wood used, and demo videos of not just stars playing the guitars, but also videos from newer players like me. I decided to take a chance on Denny Sr. and Jr, and order a 900CE. The service and communication throughout the order and build process was excellent. Denny Jr. personally responded to a lot of my questions, and even switched my order to the 900EVS when I decided against the cut-away model.
The guitar arrived on time and the case is top notch and includes a humidifier. The sounds this thing puts out is absolutely beautiful, from strumming to picking. Just such a rich sound already and the wood is still green. It's very comfortable to play standing or sitting and the feeling is so much different than my other guitars. The online reviews are legit. I'm extremely happy with my purchase of this guitar, and grateful for a price point that will not end my marriage. "I have been playing guitar for 38 years. I bought my first Zager yesterday after returning my Taylor 314CE Builder's Edition to Guitar Center because it did not have a full enough sound to be my main acoustic. I played all their high-end guitars a few days earlier but decided to see if they got anything new in stock.
The only "new" guitar that wasn't there when I bought my Taylor was a used Zager 900CE. A what? I never heard of them but when I played it, the sound blew me away.
Not only was the full-body tone beautiful, it played like a dream. I was sold within a minute of playing it. For fun, I played other guitars in the room, some that were twice the cost of this Zager (even a new one) and the hands-down, the Zager crushed the other guitars.
My only regret is I had to wait for 39 years of playing guitar to find the best acoustic guitar I have ever played or heard.

"My experience with Zager Guitars has been better than I could have expected! I am a novice player just less than three months into lessons. My first guitar was a Classic Fender acoustic.
I saw the Zager "Easy Play" add at just the right time. Even with good callus', I had cut a couple sessions short from excessive pain playing the high strings. I also was experiencing thumb pain from how hard I had to press to get my bar chords not to buzz. Zager is the only guitar builder I had heard of that offers ergonomic solutions for the same problems I was experiencing.
The video information Denny has available covers every question I could come up with. All of the issues I was having as a novice have been addressed in the design of his guitars, resulting from the years of personal experience in his own career as a player.
My evaluation included ergonomic design explanations, what the model options were comparing performance and cost, service, and warranty. I purchased the
ZAD-800MCE LH AURA/N on a Thursday morning and received shipment on the following Tuesday. The many reviews also available, comparing the playability, sound, and craftsmanship of other manufacturers to the Zager, was icing on the cake for me. When displayed on it's stand, I consider it the first real piece of fine art that I have owned! There is a notable difference in how long I can play, and how much pressure is needed to produce a desired sound. Hands down, the most "sound Investment" I'll ever need to make! "

"Seriously there should be 10 stars instead of 5.Of all the people I've had to deal with over the years ( been playing guitar since I was 16... so 51 years...and counting) the Zager experience has been the best of them all. And the crazy thing is I've never even met them in person. YET.
THey are so professional and helpful with even the most minor of questions and I can tll you that is a relief concidering some of the cold hearted salesman you run across at the bigger chains with massive overhead.
