"I was mislead by all the “good” reviews on there website. I over looked the fact that there was no “bad” ones. There were white spots showing outside the seams in multiple places on the suit. I then contacts them about the quality issues. After a string of emails where I was willing to send back the custom made suit that was sewn carelessly. They admitted to being careless in there sewing. They told me the poor sewing was fine and not noticeable. Even after sending photos of the noticeable poor sewing quality. They refused to fix the mistakes on the sewing mistakes or refund me. It’s an almost $200 dollar suit. I’m unhappy with and also upset with there willingness to just call there poor sewing quality ok. They could look at any mess up they have made and say it’s ok and not give you a product your happy at all. Don’t buy from them ever. "

When asked what my options were in replacement or refunding, I was told that I had to purchase the suit again with a light discount. Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this to anyone. "So i spoke with Chuck before buying, asked to make sure when ordering, the hood will be detached. i asked and told him to make sure it will be. sadly 3 things wrong once i received it.... yup, the hood wasnt detached, i stated many times and asked, and never did. Also, the leg length wasn't correct, i asked for 79cm, and when i measured the costume using according to the way they want to measure, it was 74 cm, and yes, 5 cm, does make a difference between comfort and tight to bend or sit.

the last thing that really really gets me upset is the customer service from chuck, terrible, first off, i asked before ordering, i double check again and have all the emails, so please if you want them i can share, i have proof of his incompetence. second, his way of trying to twist words into his favor is dumb as a telemarketer trying to sell you something. in short... STAY AWAY FROM ZENTAI ZENTAI, save your money and try aliexpress or other place that has a good rating, its worth going to the right place and pay more than these guys pay less, and get what you paid for."

We ordered a superhero suit and got something we can't even figure out what it is. "A couple of years back I ordered a suit from this company. The suit was really nicely made and the fabric was nice, comfy and stretchy. However, this was an unprinted suit.

Recently Me and my Brother bought printed custom sized suits from Zentai-Zentai and the whole experience was terrible. The website states that custom suits start at $50. Fair enough. But there's no other pricing information about the suits anywhere else on the site.
I myself got a Spider-Man suit made with multiple additional features being the U-shaped Zip(which is default), a zip on the back of the neck, "better" fabric and soles on the feet.

I say "better" in quote marks because the fabric is actually worse quality than the default fabric my previous suit was made with. Granted one drawback in the suit is that I used near to exact measurements which causes trouble when putting my arm through the wrist area but everywhere else has the fabric stretch a bit much (showing the white fabric through the print >:( )

The suits are made with no common sense in how they'll look. For instance, the soles are glued on so tightly to the fabric that the print on the feet disappears. On top of that my Brother's suit's hands have been sewn together by someone who'd clearly just finished reading 'Sewing for Dummies' the minute before starting and the stitching came out seconds after he put on the suit.

FYI: It's an additional $28 if you're getting one printed (not just custom sized) and the shipping goes through the roof if you choose the "better" fabric and soles, I had to pay an additional $35!

I have extensively read and watched other's reviews of Zentai-Zentai products and the only have 2 results: really good or really bad. One thing is consistent though, the terrible customer service!
Long story short, because they're based in Shanghai it takes 24 hours for them to reply because they're about 5 hours ahead of us in the UK (typically replying between 3am to 7am) which isn't helpful when trying to make a deal. Even worse is that it seems near impossible to make specific points and they'll just spew generic emails at you if you do (eg. I asked about how to cut holes in the mask to see through without it breaking (I'm attaching eyes over the top with magnets) and they just said "the suit not fray when wear, glue eyes on and it be fine") which doesn't help in the slightest.


Overall I am heavily disappointed in the service I've had with Zentai-Zentai especially after getting a well made suit 2 years prior. They boast about good quality and that is rarely the case.
If you want to get a good Spider-Man suit just save up for one of the suits on RPC Studio or find someone to print and sew the suit that you trust for quality."

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY **** I wish I had read these reviews before ordering!! I'm having an extremely difficult time returning a catsuit that is FAR too small. I have followed all of the return policy guidelines and this "Chuck Johnson" person is demanding that I send a photo of me in the suit so he can "decide if there is a problem". I have stated clearly and calmly in every e-mail correspondence that the suit is too small and I am unhappy with the purchase and would like to return it. The return policy does not require a photo to return and further more, I do not wish to send a picture of my body an a catsuit which is too small to anyone. This is unprofessional and it feels as though he is dragging this process out so that the next thing he will say is that I have missed the return window. Unprofessional and a very negative experience with "Chuck Johnson". "

"Your suit looks good but I had a horrible experience with this company.Potential buyers check out the other reviews via Facebook & STAY AWAY!! I ordered a custom suit as well that had additional mod requests and that's not what I received. The suit was NOT made to the measurements that were submitted at all & it's too big. I requested and paid for an invisible U zipper and the zipper was in the front & very visible. The suit has white blotches on it ( pictured below) and there was a tear on one of the hands. Lastly the seam is white & really sticks out against the black material. Once I received the suit all pictures were sent to some guy named Johnson Chuck who was of no help. I wasted $120 & now I'm down one costume for an upcoming convention. If I could post more pictures I would. Check out Herostime.com, the costumes are a bit cheaper and look better. I ordered the Cindy Moon (Silk) suit from them and it fits really good."

"I had the opposite issue as everyone else with my suit. mine was extremely small. The material was stretched so thin you could see my body hair through it. The fingers of my suit were the worst because they weren't long enough therefore I wasn't able to move my fingers in the suite at all.

I was very satisfied with the print and even the workmanship but, just like other people, When I had an issue I was given the run around by "Chuck Johnson" I ended up sending it back into them as requested, they claimed to have received it 3 weeks later and said they would respond to me within 5 working days. That was over a month ago now. At this point I want a refund but have not heard anything back. I feel like I was scammed out of $150. They even made me pay for the shipping back to china!

Someone should tell "Chuck" customer service is what makes a company successful not the product alone. look at Zapos and Amazon.

When we tried to contact the company on the issue they asked for me to try on the suit and take pictures for them. I proceeded to do as they asked. They then requested my sizing measurements. I then sent them my measurements. They sent me a picture of a sizing chart with size small highlights and told me I needed a smaller size and that they would give me a discount to order a new suit. Return policy clearly says I am entitled to a refund and they have fought me for 6 months (still going April 2014) on this refusing to accept the return or issue a refund. "The suit is fantastic. Im not even exaggerating, absolutely perfect. The quality is 100%, mask is amazing, and the spider design is perfect. I got mine custom fitted and it fits perfectly, seriously. So happy! My cats seem to love me in it too, for some reason :P

I recommend adding a crotch zipper, and a detachable hood for eating etc. I did not get a detachable hood and I have to get someone to help me unzip every time I want a drink or something, lol! The zip goes from the underarm, across the back to the other underarm :) Mask is white mesh, and the material of the suit is very nice. Highly recommend, I wouldn't trade it for anything. :)
