"I mailed my machine to them. Told me it would take a week. Every week I would email them with an update and they kept telling me they were waiting on a part. A part they said they had in stock when I sent it to them. After 4months they sent a machine back, but it was broken and not my machine. I sent them pictures of my machine vs the one they sent me completely different color. So I sent it back and they stopped returning my calls and emails. I got the police involved after 6mo and they told the officer they will send it back. The machine they sent me was not my machine and still did not work. I have read many reviews on BBB and other sites and this company steals machines and most likely sells the good ones and sends you back broken ones. It's hard to believe no one in the area have sued them or put them out of business. They are scammers."
"I sent my expensive coffee maker to them for repair in 2021. They kept me waiting for a year and a half, telling me it was fixed and soon to be shipped. Then they suddenly told me it was irreparably broken and would not even refund me!!! Now they won’t respond to calls or emails. STAY AWAY from them!!! Btw they are NOTan authorized Saeco repair facility, though they are listed as such online. "
"I gave him my Saeco to be repaired. He sent me immediately an invoice for $339 and was paid. For months he claimed he needed parts from Europe. Finally I took my machine back and asked to get a refund. It is now one month that he claims that it was sent via the bank. I never received it. The guy is liar. Stay away. "
"'ll echo the same sentiments with respect to dealing with Rob. At best, he's a very dishonest, incompetent individual. At worst, he's a common criminal. I sent in a Sacco machine for repair and was told it would be fixed in a few days. After a month, and multiple conversations with shifting stories, I finally received the machine back. Surprise, surprise - the machine showed up significantly damaged. So damaged, the chassis was bent and the back cover was not secured properly. The machine was in pristine cosmetic condition when I sent it off To Rob. I called to discuss the condition of the machine with Rob and was told that it was damaged when it was shipped to him. Really? This isn't something he thought was worthy of mentioning in the multiple conversations we had after he received the machine? I had the machine insured by FedEx and, now that it was already shipped back to me, I couldn't make a claim. To make matters worse, any proceeds for the claim I placed through UPS, who Rob used to ship it back to me, would only pay out to the SHIPPER! Yes, Rob the deceptive criminal, gets the claim proceeds. Can't make this stuff up. I'm shocked that he still is allowed to do business."
"I sent my coffeemaker for repair October 2018, paid for the repair on the same month.
I have not received my coffee maker up to today June 3rd..
I have sent more than 20 e mails to Rob and never I fulfilled my repair.
It has been too long and my patience to much.
I consider a very bad service and no profesional service from them.
The worst."
"Can I give less than 1 star? Avoid these guys at all costs. Unresponsive. My experience is similar to other recent reviews: I sent in my Saeco machine for repair in mid December of 2018 and prepaid them almost $300. The next 4 months were nothing but excuses and varying stories, mostly that their parts distributor was out of the needed part(s). I finally demanded my machine back along with a refund of the money paid. Yesterday, after almost 5 months, the machine arrived back but it was missing the brew group and power cord, making it completely useless. Refund of what I paid has never been issued. As usual, Rob won't answer any calls. How are they even in business? How is Rob not in JAIL?"
"Rob is a liar and cheat. Like others have said do not send this guy your machine."
"Had machine for six weeks. Failed to repair. Charged me $275."
"I agree with the many reviews that you should AVOID AlatteHotte and Rob, After being a customer for ten years he has turned into liar and a cheat. The internet is a with stories that, now I can personally say, I too have had the exact same thing happen. I sent my Odea in to be cleaned and serviced he did neither and sent me back "a machine" (not mine) that was in worse condition than my very lightly used machine and only upon the threat of being sued and a demand letter did he settle by sending me a check to reimburse my shipping cost and the cost of "o rings" he was supposed to install.
Rob was to service my machine and return it once I returned from vacation. I tried to communicate with him via email, then phone calls with nothing being returned. When I finally got in touch with him he started with all kinds of excuses about emails and phone service changes that we so outrages that I went from my original plan of getting this machine back while I waited for him to get a shipment of new upgraded machines in, as I was in the market to upgrade as well, to just being happy if I got my old machine back.
My machine was sent in the original factory box with all the original packing materials that I kept for 10 years, I am meticulous and cleaned and serviced this machine myself since I bought it. I felt since I was going out of town it would be a good idea to have a "professional" service it. I cleaned it well before packing it. I received "a machine" back, it was returned in a generic box and w/o the power cord and when questioned he claimed the boxed arrived "so damaged" he couldn't return the machine safely in it and that he did me a favor by not charging me. I asked "why did you accept it from FedEx then? I would have filled a claim!" No reply! I then started to tell him that it clearly had never been cleaned as he claimed and that in fact I was positive it wasn't even my machine he started blocking my calls, not returning text not email. When I did get him on the phone he started to try to make me out to be the liar. (I have a video of the machine he sent me and the state it was in that I will post on Youtube.) Only after speaking with my attorney and sending the demand letter that Rob corresponded.
I have since read the exact same story from another "client" dealing with this incredibly dishonest and stupid "businessman". Don't ever send him your machine and if possible do business elsewhere.

"I wrote a review on Nov. 14th 2017 as I cannot get my coffermaker back. On the 16th I got an email from Rob saying the unit was shipping back to me on the 19th repaired. Same story since I sent it to them on March 7th 2017 for 24 hour repair. Just can't get it back after many promises phone calls etc. The last email and promise was from Rob the CEO. Don't understand why Saeco would associate with this company. Wondering what goes ? Will I ever see my Saeco again? I paid in advance as required."
"Read the bad reviews this man lies and is garbage do not buy from him. Took 2 months to get it then it broke in 6 and took him 3 months to get it back. Then at one year it broke again and he said he would fix it even though it was out of warranty. And six months later he sent it back to me. Said it was fixed but still had same issue. "
"We had a number of problems ordering and there were many delays and un-answered phone calls before we received it. The Saeco Minuto has been good, but after 2 years it needs repair. aLotteHotte gave me an extended warranty so I should be all set, but...
It's been a week - no phone calls returned, no email returned and the livechat doesn't seem to work either. I should have bought from WholeLatteLove - they have excellent customer service. I went with aLatteHotte because of the generous 3 year warranty. It's looking like that was a bad choice.
I finally got through to Rob (owner) and now my machine is on its way to him for repair. His estimated turn around time is 2 1/2 weeks.
"
"I ordered a machine in January 2017. After months of emails, I finally received the machine. However, the deal also involved accessories and a trade in. After sending my trade in with a promised value of $500, and after now 5 months of emails asking for an update, Rob (owner and founder) no longer responds to my emails, has never sent the rest of the order (accessories) and has not refunded the trade in. I suspect they have cash flow problems or possibly are simply cons. Run, don't walk away from this rip off business."
"I sent my Saeco Exprelia Evo to them for repair because I purchased it from them and they were an authorized service center. I did not check reviews before sending my machine to them. HUGE MISTAKE.
After months of being lied to and unfulfilled promises I had them send my machine back to me. I then sent it on to a reputable service center. Come to find out aLatteHotte switched out my like new brew group for a piece of crap that looked like it had been hit by a truck. They also broke a dispenser on the door to the unit. The new repair shop said they had never seen one of these parts broken in all their years. They also said they had previous calls from other aLatteHotte repair customers who had similar repair problems with aLatteHotte. aLatteHotte promises but does not deliver."
"I ordered a machine and then coffee. They always have a "reasonable" explanation. But, what they are doing is lying to your face and smiling. My machine was 3+ weeks late and my coffee order was 6 weeks late. They don't deserve to be in business and shouldn't get yours."
