"My wife and I are very happy with our purchase. Bobby was our salesman person. Bobby is very knowledgeable and very helpful though out the process. He follow up with us after the purchase making sure our delivery was coordinated with our crazy schedules. We would recommend Bobby to our family and friends. The whole staff was wonderful. "

They lost my Refrigerator

" went online to order a Refrigerator due to the local Lowes and Homedepot not ever stocking anything. I came across this Whirlpool Fridge for sale from AJ Madison. Ordered it and they took my money and said it would be delivered soon. 2 Weeks later I get an email about it being delivered. I confirm as requested and they again confirmed the day of delivery. The driver calls about 30 minutes before delivery as expected. Then they get to my house look all over the truck and then come to the door and say. "Well I guess they decided not to put your item on the truck sorry about that" and then got back in the truck and drove off. I immediately calle dthe delivery service and it took half the day to get somebody on the phone. And they didn't have a clue. No attempt to call me I had to chase them down to get an answer. So I finally call AJ Madison to find out where in the Hell my Refrigerator was located. After being on the phone for 1 and half hours. They finally find the Fridge. Then they tell me it will be another week before delivery. When I ask for a refund. They tell me it was a mistake due to COVID-19. What a crock of ****. I told the lady stupidity is what caused this problem not COVID-19. Then I asked for a refund again. The lady snapped back at me and said "30 percent restocking fee" with no other comments. Just basically screw you and just wait is what I got out of the deal. **** Poor customer service from AJ Madison and AM Trucking. Not taking any responsibility for any actions made. Don't buy from this company I know I won't"

Terribly incompetent company

"I would just like to warn other people out there shopping for good deals on appliances to avoid doing business with AJ Madison. Their prices were not worth the trouble I've gone through getting a new refrigerator, washer and dryer. I wish I would have bought locally and paid just a bit more.

My first shipment arrived a few weeks after I ordered it. The delivery guys showed up about 10:30pm and it took them until at least 12:30am to finish up. On the refrigerator they delivered it was clearly written "Wrong Freezer Door". So I was left with a useless fridge as I could not close the freezer door. I have no idea why they shipped this to me.

I ordered two pedestals for my washer and dryer. The delivery folks only left me with one pedestal and had to come back later to deliver the other. On top of that, they set one of the pedestals on top of the washer and scratched it up. After they delivered the second pedestal, when I went to install it, I noticed they whole thing had been bent and was mangled beyond repair.

Calling AJ Madsion to get these issues resolved is a pain. If you do business with them and you need to call them you are pretty much guaranteed to wait on hold for an hour each time you call. On top of that, they will not care about their mistakes at all. I shipped back my damaged pedestal on Jan 2nd. Today is Jan 13th and I hadn't heard anything. When I finally got a hold of someone at AJ Madison, it turns out they forgot to send me a replacement.

At the end of the day, these people incompetent and really do not care about whatever trouble they will cause you. If you value your time at all, do business with someone else. I have several more appliances I need to purchase as I redo my kitchen and I have learned my lesson to shop locally.

Horrible customer service

"I ordered an item (exhaust chimney for over the stove) that came in two boxes. Only one was delivered. The trucking company said they'd look for it, but they didn't find it. I called AJ Madison about it and rather than saying "I'm sorry to hear that let me get a replacement sent out to you right away," they said they would do a "dock check" to see if the item had been left on the delivery dock somewhere. I waited about a week and didn't hear anything, so I called again. The person who answered said she would have to check with her manager. When I didn't hear back after a few days I called again. At this point, it was going on two weeks after the missed delivery, and in the meantime, the crew that was working finished the kitchen remodel and one of the crew, seeing a box that looked like it had some excess parts in it, took part of my chimney to the dump. When I finally talked to the manager I told her about how their failure to get me the part I'd ordered and paid for had resulted in it getting tossed out, and her attitude was "tough luck, that's not our fault." After substantial pressure she said she would sell it to me at the wholesale price, but that it was backordered and wouldn't be available for six weeks. I said I'd see if I could get it elsewhere sooner, but that I would call her back if I couldn't find it. I did end up calling her back, but my calls all went to voice mail and she never called me back. I will never do business with this company again."

"Ajmadison really screwed me....cyber monday I ordered a dish washer, oven and stove....they had the best prices I could find and showed them in stock.....now they say they didnt have them in stock and canceled my order....i could have ordered somewhere else that showed these items in stock....thanks guy.....never again will i use you"

A Month-of-Hell with AJ Madison

"If only I had done 2 minutes of research, I could have saved hundreds of dollars and major headaches! How does this company stay in business? Clearly, AJ Madison President, Isaac Gross and Vice President, Michael Gross do not care about customer service. Meanwhile, my experience is mirrored by all the negative reviews on this site, the BBB and anywhere else you see the AJ Madison name online.
I ordered a refrigerator 10/7, it was finally delivered 11/8. This is a partial list of issues I had to deal with over a month-of-hell: Overcharged by salesperson Victor Sned for shipping and panel install / Non-delivery by date promised (10/21) / Office Closure 10/21 and 10/22 for holiday with no outgoing message stating such / Unanswered calls, voicemails, emails over several weeks in trying to track down appliance / Company blatantly stated it does not place any kind of courtesy phone calls to customers in need / Service Manager, Megan Messing, exchanged a week of emails with me that could have been solved by a 2 minute phone conversation / Not one single apology, from anyone, at any point, over the whole month of dealing with AJ Madison.
I can only hope that someone reads this and learns from my misfortune.

Shipping Rates Too High, Salesperson didn't honor offer made by Customer Service Agent.

"I contacted customer service because I felt $30.25 was too much to charge for shipping an item weighing less than 2 lbs to the lower 48 states. The customer service person offered me $10 as a shipping charge. I made sure that she knew that this was for an open box item. She said it would apply for that as well as she would get me to the correct sales person to take the order. The sales person said they would only do the lower shipping on a new item, and I would need to pay the $30.25 as I was getting a good discount already. Result for them (over $20.25) is lost sale, and damage to company's reputation. I have never heard of a company not backing an offer made by their own customer service department before. I felt very embarrassed for the young lady that gave me the offer, and I hope she finds a new job at a company that stands behind it's commitments."

Lowest IQ company on the internet

"Worst online shopping experience ever. I am a real estate developer and placed a small order for 2 refrigerators, 2 stoves, a microwave good, stove hood, and a dishwasher. They claimed my CC wasn't working and called me about it. During that call I was told the dishwasher was on back order. They wanted me to change to a cheaper model, and I did. They did not credit me. They also recommended I pay extra for White glove delivery since I wanted the products asap. I did as well. I was told that it would process and be ready for shop the next day. That was Sept. It is Nov now and I've each of the last three days on job site waiting. It never comes and after delivery window I call and they say the next day each time. I also receive a new email to confirm next day delivery. No help from worthless idiots at AJ Madison. Solomon is a liar and scumbag. Don't buy or believe a word they print or say. Now trying to cancel and order elsewhere after waiting on these jerks for months"
