"I signed up for a DNA Kit, responding to a special for $59. They charge $9.95 shipping and $1 for a 3-month trial of their 'World Explorer' membership.
I found their site really complicated, hard to navigate and confusing. Even trying to locate return/refund information was impossible.

It took 3(!) calls to their Customer Service line to get a return label. Each person gave me different information:
--The first person, Zimmian, said he'd email me a return label and that I'd get a full refund including shipping, no restocking fee.
--The second person, Katrina, sounded half asleep and repeatedly asked me questions I'd already answered, such as why I was calling. She directed me to a webpage to print a label for sending samples to Ireland.
--The third person, Lennardo, was able to direct me to a webpage that gave me a return label for a refund, but said I would not get my shipping fees back and there would be a restocking charge. He was actually incredibly rude, talking over me, and humming loudly while I navigated to the webpage.

Congratulations, Ancestry.com! You have achieved a new low in customer service!"

"I've had my family tree on ancestry.com since 2001. I used to really enjoy it, but since they upgraded to the "New Ancestry" I am very unhappy with it for the reasons below:

I dislike the fact that I can't make corrections on the Relationship Calculator. Because I have so many ancestors that intermarried, the system constantly calculates my relationships through one dominant family. It used to be that I could click on "Recalculate Relationship" but that option has been deleted. I am extremely dissatisfied with this.

Also, some of the items previously added to "Gallery" now have no way to be deleted.

They also added a function to every profile called "Life Story", which is redundant and useless.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I'm considering moving my family tree to another site. And that will be a tedious process. "
