The first book was described as coming with a floppy disk. It was also described to be in good condition. It was neither. It did not contain any floppy disk as it was supposed to, and the condition was very rough. The book looked heavily used.
As for the second book I purchased in the same order. It never arrived.
I am not happy. It was my first and last time shopping through Biblio.com
I wish they would allow you to rate the sellers, then maybe a customer like myself could avoid the bad sellers."
"I was thrilled to have been able to acquire this book, On the Town in New York from 1776 to the Present by Michael and Ariane Batterberry. It was old having been published in 1973. It is extremely well researched and documented. It certainly brings character and personality to the period both with food and lifestyle. Biblio has been instrumental in provisioning me with older books and their network of dealers is excellent. In all of my dealings, they have been extremely courteous, professional and prompt. Even with books from overseas, I am pleasantly surprised at how quickly they arrive. The packages are handled well and delivered without damage of any kind to the packaging much less the book inside.
