"Scam. Rude. DO NOT purchase from BOX OFFICE TICKET SALES. They just took advantage of my senior citizen mom. She told me that she spent $76/ea. on tix that should have cost $13/ea. She bought 13 tix at almost $1000. I told her that wasn't right and called immediately to ask what's up and cancel. They (I spoke to 2 people, including a manager) were SO rude and just kept repeating that terms and conditions were agreed to already over the phone at time of purchase. I explained that my mom's old and can't hear well and doesn't know what she agreed to. They literally told me that maybe she'll have "learned her lesson." Classy. They admit to taking advantage of an old lady. The credit card purchase hasn't even gone through yet (I spoke with the arena) but they refuse to cancel."
"I’m in the process of disputing my pending charge for $509.41 for comedy tickets because I thought I was calling and booking directly through the venue due to the company name being “Box Office Ticket Sales.” After reading through multiple negative reviews, I discovered that they’re a third party company. I found the Straz Center website and was able to secure two balcony tickets for $126 (even better than what they were offering). According to the other reviews, this company is a scam. Some customers never even received their tickets! They should be ashamed of themselves, overcharging people and not delivering as promised. My credit card company will be in contact with them on Monday. I called and spoke to customer service in which the lady replied, “when you’re on hold, you’re advised you aren’t calling the venue directly.” Are you kidding me? I was never placed on hold throughout the call! Box Office Ticket Sales is refusing to issue a refund. I’m not sure how these people sleep at night, charging five times the face value of tickets and impersonating venues directly! Total con artists! Stay FAR away from them!"
"A fake website tricked me into thinking I was calling the venue. Agents are trained to divert you and hang up if you inquire about prices or customer service. "
"I ordered tickets for a play in montreal from them. they were supposed to arrive November 23. The show is tomorrow. the tickets are a gift for someone. I tried to trace them through the service they gave me MyTicket Tracker. No go. Ripped me off for almost $1000. BUYER BEWARE!"
"They misrepresent themselves as if they are in san Diego at the San Diego Civic Theater and then charge an exorbitant amt of money per ticket. If you call them there are as rude as hell treating you like you ****. Honestly. I do not know how the people that work there sleep st night since they rop people off, are rude and mean."
"These are criminals. Do NOT buy tickets from them because you will never get them. Their customer service reps are trained and paid to lie, lie, lie for as long as you stay on the phone with them. Unfortunately I bought my way over-priced tickets Before reading the reviews. I never got them of course - because this is a scam. I intend to report them to the BBB though I don't expect much done. But please don't buy from them!!!
"
"It was frustrating waiting for the tix to be e-mailed, even more so after reading the reviews (which I hadn’t before placing my order) but the tix arrived on the day promised, downloaded and printed with ease and the seats were exactly what I ordered. I have a strong feeling I overpaid, but otherwise it was exactly as advertised. I would consider using the service again, and feel that only people with negative experiences share their opinions. Thank you BOT, the show was awesome. -TC"
"After reading so many reviews that were negative I was afraid that I would not get my tickets. It had been six months since I ordered them and I still not have received them two days before the event which was tonight. I emailed the company and within 5 minutes I got tickets so I definitely thought it would be a scam. I got to the Toronto venue and saw Elton play a 3 hour non-stop amazing show and my tickets worked!"
"Was having trouble with the LiveNation site loading, so I searched for "Aztec Theater San Antonio Box Office" and a StubHub ad came up first, but the next listing said Box Office Tickets - Aztec Theater", so I thought that's what it was: the Aztec Theater Box Office.
When I got onto the site, it started flashing me messages saying "Tickets Selling Out - We're Experiencing High Demand", which is of course, high pressure sales tactics. So I quickly bought 2 tickets and paid $311 for the tickets that cost my friends less than half of that ($128). By the time I realized who I'd bought from, I had a bad feeling, so I Googled the "Box Office Ticket Agency", I saw all the reviews indicating experiences similar to my own (and worse: people getting bogus tickets that either weren't where their seats were promised or that didn't get them into the venue at all).
So I'm not taking any chances: I am not accepting my digital tickets and am instead disputing the charges with my credit card company. Already bought two other tickets from a LEGITIMATE source, which these guys most certainly are not."
"They sold me tickets to a event locally and then call 2 hours before the event to let me know they didn't have the tickets and would be refunding my card in a few days. I bought 4 tickets and already committed them to other friends at the price I paid. Ended up spending twice on the tickets to make it right to my friends because unlike this company I stand behind my word. Also I checked a hour after they called and they were still offering tickets but had doubled the price. "
"Scam site- DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE"
"I paid three times the amount for tickets. This company will rip you off make sure when your ordering tickets it is not from Boc Office Tickets. "
"I purchased tickets for the Hollywood Vampire show for May 18 at Fantasy Springs Casino. I purchased two tickets for me and my sister. They charged me 850 dollars. I was told that they were nice seats. However, when I seen the floor plan the seats are way far in the back and other ticket sale companies were charge 150 dollars for seats in that row. When the tickets came they had 79 dollars marked on them. I called and told them that I feel the tickets were not worth 850 dollars and that the agent is pocketing the rest of the money. The sales agent said, "No one is pocketing the rest of the money and you agreed to the terms."I called and spoke to a man named Scott who claimed to be a manager and he said that there is nothing he can do because I agreed to the terms. Well, I did agree to the terms because I believed the agents lies that I had good seats and that those were the only seats in that price range. I wish I would have seen these reviews prior to purchasing the tickets. A lesson learned and I will not be using or recommending this place."
"Their customer service was horrendous. They kept transferring me to different numbers. I was situated where there was no printer available. The eTicket had to be printed. The display ticket on mobile device would not allow for scan. I was told by them to go to a print and copy place. It cost me $5 to print it. I am so disgusted. Stay away from this 3rd party seller. I plan to report them to Better Business Bureau and give them a letter "F""
"I bought front row seats to Chris D'elia in Fargo for 120 bucks when I called the theater they had none of my info, so I called them and they said I had to actually print the ticket out. The theater that I was going to said they wouldnt accept that so I had to buy another 50$ ticket and ticket office said they give no refunds. I'll never buy from them again."
