"In 2006 when Canon introduced the iPF 5000 large format printer I began to research not only the unit itself, but also where to purchase it from. My research indicated that the iPF 5000 while producing excellent results was far from the easiest printer to set up and use. This required finding a dealer who excelled not only in price and delivery, but in post sales support as the inevitable problems arose.

I spoke with many dealers but found myself returning to ColorHQ for the in-depth answers I needed before the purchase.

I purchased the printer from ColorHQ, it arrived on time and yes set up was a bear, but Color HG was there to ease the chore and made working with the iPF 5000 relatively easy.

Since then I have purchased another iPF 5000, and a iPF 5100 (a much nicer printer than the 5000) from ColorHQ with the same excellent pre and post purchase service. I also have Brian at ColorHQ do my paper profiles and they are uniformly excellent.

As president of the 200+member Princeton NJ Photography Club I'm frequently asked about equipment purchases. When it comes to printers I recommend ColorHQ. Club members have purchased 2 iPF 5000's and 2 iPF 5100's based on my recommendations and have been just as satisfied as I am dealing with ColorHQ

"I have bought a Canon iPF5100 printer, printer supplies and an i-one monitor calibration tool from CplorHQ and have found these people to have outstanding service both with the sale and after the sale.

I have made no less than five calls asking questions about the fundementals of a rather complicated printer. On each occasion my questions were answered promply and professionly. Jim Memije knows his products.

"In a nutshell...."As good as it gets".

As a company that values our reputation in the wide format printing world, I give the staff at ColorHQ both thumbs up. The customer service is exceptional, the knowledge base is wonderful, and I recommend them to anyone serious about the printing industry.
My personal contact, Jim Memije has provided a wealth of information and expertise, and I value that. We've purchased more than one wide format printer and accessories from this company, as well as rolls of quality print media too numerous to count, and have always had a positive experience.

"The Internet has spawned a great number or resellers of just anything imaginable. That can be good news as long as consumers can find quality organizations to do business with. Color HQ stands out not only as a quality driven organization, but is earning their way to the top of the list. I found Color HQ on a web search for a computer monitor that can be calibrated for use in Photoshop. First impressions were positive, as their order confirmation/shipping confirmations were fast and thorough. Delivery was on time with product as advertised. And the price was very good too. Well done. Shortly after, I wanted to upgrade my photo printer to a larger format. I was currently using a Canon iPF5100 and wanted to go at least 24” wide if not 44” wide. I researched the Canon printer models and found Color HQ to provide the best information on their web site and they also had fantastic pricing. Being conservative, I placed an order on-line for an iPF6100. Received a call from a Color HQ sales person and had an incredible and positive experience. My opinion of what transpired is based on 15 years of successful sales experience selling electronic controls to both end users and resellers. The sales person from Color HQ, Jim, helped me understand and learn the differences between the “old” model I ordered (iPF 6100) and the newer model, the iPF 6300. My eyes were opened to important changes that in fact turned new features into benefits for me. It's difficult for me to just read product specs and understand the nuances of new models. In addition, his interest in my well-being and customer satisfaction revealed that I actually wanted the iPF8300. This difference is huge as it means going from 24” width to 44”. Once again, Jim’s consultative sales approach helped me learn and understand that the iPF 8300 was in fact within reach economically. I really appreciated his efforts to ask the right questions to learn about my needs so he could explain the differences so I could make an informed buying decision. Well done!! There just are not many sales people out there any more that have the skills to do this, the knowledge to make it happen, or desire to take the time. So, I changed my order from an iPF 6100 to the iPF 8300 and cannot be happier that I did. It’s opened new doors for my photography business and done so in a cost effective manner. In addition, I’ve had a chance to speak with other sales people at Color HQ, and they also share in the same knowledge and desire for customer service. One of their sales folks, Brian has also been very helpful and did my custom printer profiles which have worked very well. In fact, Brian and Jim are sharp enough to have recognized that I made a mistake when printing the profile pages and worked with me to get it done correctly while at the same time using this experience to help me learn. That's really appreciated! I have also received calls from other folks at Color HQ thanking me for my purchase and repeating what must be a company wide mantra of customer service. These folks seem to actually, ummm, CARE if you are a satisfied customer and will go the extra distance collectively to make sure that happens. In addition to my printer purchase, which by the way was a major capital acquisition for my business, I received training time to make sure I got the most out of the printer. This too was handled professionally and opened my eyes to some workflow mistakes I have been making. Overall, this is the only place to go for printers, supplies and the other products handled by Color HP. What more can you ask for than:

1.Knowledge sales folks that care about you.
2.A customer service driven organization that seems to exist from top to bottom.
3.First rate order/shipping communications
4.And the icing on the cake… consistently great pricing.

I’m not looking any further. Color HQ fills a great many of my business needs and is a preferred vendor. If they treat you like they do me, and I’ll bet they will, give them a try and see for yourself.

"I'm totally pleased with these guys. I've purchased X-Rite Eye-one pro basic from this store. Before making purchase I've called them twice to receive more info about product and their sales team have shown solid knowledge of the product. My order had been shipped the same day, and when I received it I found that my i1 pro is recently manufactured (it is important, because it needs to be recalibrated every 1 or 2 year) and nicely doublepacked."
