"Bought a pair of Columbia Sportswear Newton Ridge Plus II Waterproof boots from their online store, and first time trying them on a lacing hook on the right boot fell out. Mother Boyle should be ashamed! And they're charging me $6 to return the boots back to them. Wonder why they don't give you an option to request a replacement, rather than defaulting to only a refund? The left boot was comfortable and fit fine. If I could get 2 boots that stayed together fine I think they'd be good winter boots. I'm not going to go and order another pair if they won't just replace these. Think I'll go and get myself a pair of Wolverines instead. At least I know they have quality."
"I have purchased Columbia Sportswear products for years. I needed a windbreaker so I found this nice looking one, style 1589321, on their website on sale for $19.19 with free shipping. What I received was a thin, disgusting, cheap piece of vinyl in the shape of a jacket. I am in my 70s and I have owned a LOT of windbreakers in my lifetime and I'm here to tell you this is the most horrible example of a jacket I have ever seen. I initiated a return and Columbia is charging ME $6.00 to return it! The final insult. I will never, ever buy another product with their name on it. I am astounded that Columbia would put their name on it. I honestly would not wear this jacket in public if it were free. I would expect something like this to be in the $1.00 clearance bin at the dollar store."

"Pants fit beautifully, but too long, tailor shortened by 6 inches. First day of wearing, in 30 minutes they had stretched to the point that they were falling off (size 10). First day, the inseam was coming apart.
Called Columbia, because they were shortened, there was no ability to return. The shortening had nothing to do with the lousy pants. I am soooo done with Columbia. Ba Bye!!!"
