"I had to return a helmet I purchased from Cycle Gear. Unfortunately I purchased a low end product to start, but it was the budget I had to work with. After wearing the helmet a few of times I realized it was going to be a problem. It was a modular style helmet, and it was always very tight in the open and close motion. I brought it back in and talked with Carlo, who originally helped me, and he couldn't have been more understanding. The entire shield had basically fallen apart piece by piece. The locking mechanism in the front was not working either. Carlo helped me select a new helmet which I am very pleased with. I had to step up in price, but it was well worth the investment. This was my first experience shopping with Cycle Gear, so I was sure if they were going to stand behind their products. Some time had elapsed since my purchase and the time I exchanged it. I'm not an everyday rider and it was winter, so I was in no rush. I bought two helmets, two bluetooth devices and some clothing on that first trip.
