"I had two iPhones, a 7 Plus and an 8 Plus. I originally was converting the 7 Plus to an iPod and keep the iPhone 8 Plus. But then iPhone 11 Pro was released with all the photo capabilities but, oh the price! Then decided to sell the 7 Plus and trade in the 8 Plus. But where and to whom do I sell an iPhone. It turns out that Google presented me with several choices and of them all, I decided on DeCluttr. I am very pleased on how they are handling this purchase and am now waiting for my check. Being 90 years old I receive very few phone calls, which is why I originally decided on keeping the 8 Plus but my wife of 69 years is in a Care Facility, I visit with her every morning for three hours, and I take lots of pictures of her, at lease 1000 each month. Therefore I decided to purchase the iPhone 11 Pro because of the three lenses and the newer editing. "
"I have used Decluttr four times now and each time have been impressed with their consistently fair and efficient operation! Highly recommend!!"
"ordering was easy- the shipping timelines were confusing and order history, but in the end I received the product and my son was super happy about his birthday gift. "
"I had hesitations at first because it was online. BUT when I purchased it was pretty smooth sailing. Came in a box, went to my provider to connect and boom! Everything worked! Happy I went with this company. Smooth, fast and easy. Yes please!"
"Sold 2 items on here a iPhone and a PS4 very happy "
"Changing my review because they defrauded my daughter. Originally I wrote "Good value. Phone arrived as described and in good condition."
So my daughter bought an iPhone and let's when the trouble started. After numerous attempts to add the phone to our AT&T service, we determined that the phone was either mislabeled, stolen, or counterfeit (AT&T wouldn't tell us which, just that we couldn't use it). She returned the phone following Decluttr's instructions and using the label they provided. They never received the phone but at some point started lying and saying the refund was in process. Next week will be three months. Obviously Decluttr reps would rather lie to a naive young adult until she goes away instead of assisting a distressed customer."
"Decluttr is great, I answer a few questions about my phone, they sent me a shipping label for free, and an less than a week I had my cash. I would highly recommend for selling your old phones."
"Have used DeCluttr multiple times. Offered best price and quick settlement. Actually told someone at work about DeCluttr. They normally used another service. When they looked at DeCluttr, they were pleasantly surprised."
"Just about the easiest sellback I've done... Select the condition, mail the phone with their free shipping label, and It took about a week after delivery to receive my money. Website is easy to navigate and they kept me informed throughout the process. Definitely recommend! "
"Super easy to use and a wonderful way to clear out. Thumbs up and will tell all my friends. "
"Please beware of Decluttr. Buy somewhere else.
I purchased a "pristine" phone. Turns out, it had a bad IMEI and cannot be used.
I attempted to contact Decluttr's customer service phone line and found out the shut down their phone line...
So, I use the live chat and am given canned responses again and again. I nicely asked to speak to a manager, and was told that "managers don't use live chat.".... OK, so can I speak via phone? "No, managers don't have phone lines." .... I finally asked, "Managers don't communicate with customers? Because I am not bearing the risk of loss on a $600 defective item while it's in transit across the country." The response from Decluttr: "no they don't."
Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Decluttr is not worth your time, money, or headache."
"They have had my phone for 14 days no response but once after it showed delivered and said a bunch of crap about it's not really delivered. I have sent them 5 emails. My phone is worth alot of money and lack of communication is just plain bad business. I will be posting on every site until I get my phone or money. I wouldn't send them anything after this. "
"They lifter the screen off my iPhone 5s and tried to lowball me because the item wasn’t as described. Sorry, but I’d rather donate it as scrap metal than get cheated by a dishonest company. This really **** since I loved that trusty phone and I could have just given it to my daughter as a starter phone. Now it’s an unusable rock."
"Went to the website and submitted my information on a phone I wanted to sell them. They asked minimal questions then offered me $24. I figured that's pretty good, more than I thought I'd get. Sent the phone in and waited about a week or so. Then I receive an email that I would be getting only $2 because of screen burn. Really?! If this is an issue that you anticipate, then why isn't it on the questionnaire? If my phone was worth only two dollars then fine, but don't wait until you get it and then say, oh by the way you have screen burn we're going to pay you less. By then what can I do about it. I am not going to pay for you to send back my phone. If I knew it wasn't going to be worth the $24 from the start, I would have just donated it to a good cause. "
"I sent in 26 items for a measly $6 and some change (a huge ripoff honestly - I should have just tried using a garage sale), and one of the items wasn't honored. The company claims that there was damaged artwork, but the CD was still in it's original wrapping, that is it's NEVER EVEN BEEN OPENED. I don't mind an item being rejected, but don't lie about the condition. And I'm sure they won't send that CD back.
I'll avoid this company at all costs in the future. "
