"I received my new computer from eCollegePC on Friday 5-15-20. It has been a great value. It was fun to be able to spec out virtually about every single detail for what I wanted, and Mike was very responsive to questions and advice of what to order. Two weeks from the date of order until it showed up on my porch with free shipping. How many places will respond to emails on a weekend? Mike does. I did a ton of research this time around when I decided to move on from the mass producers like D*** and H*. I wanted a custom builder who was known for quality and value. I found a good article that profiled eCollegePC as one of the top 5 custom builders, and after exhaustively comparing the value and reviews of all 5, I chose eCollegePC and have been very happy I did. It was awesome to pick every detail, like which computer case, CPU, motherboard, graphic card, memory and what brand, even the power supply. I wanted an additional quiet fan installed and got that for a modest upcharge. D*** won't do that! And the pricing is quite reasonabale for what you get. What a change from the D*** I bought 6 yrs ago which was tossed together sloppily. I really enjoyed the experience this time around. As an added note to those who are also upgrading from their old computer, I used PC Mover Professional program to migrate from old computer to the and it went very smoothly. Highly recommended. Thanks, Mike!"
"Bought a new Ryzen 9 PC from them about 2 wks ago. After building my last 5-6 PC's, decided to save some time and energy and have eCollegePC do the heavy lifting. My new PC works flawlessly (and quietly,) and I'm impressed with the build and construction inside the machine- very clean, open and accessible. especially for the price- what a great value. If I ever get another PC, I'll have them built it, for sure. Highly recommended!"
"Received my new system from ecpc. It is great. I used their website browser to configure the system and received further advice via email regarding additional design improvements. The system was reasonably priced and used high end components (EVGA) for the gpu and power supply. When I benchmark it against other systems having near equal specs, it surpasses their scores by almost 10%! This is an indication that the system has good components, is assembled properly and is operating within a good thermal situation. I anticipate my new system will not be a large vendor train wreck in 4 yr. Also, its whisper quiet. Buy soon because memory prices are expected to increase significantly in 2nd half of 2020."
"Bought a PC from them earlier this year. It's like having a friend build a PC for you. They're good about testing parts and making sure everything works how it's supposed to. They're very reasonably priced, especially compared to all the other companies in the business. Mike is super responsive and is the whole process is as painless as can be. Old school genuine customer service shows. My brother wants to upgrade his computer this year, and I highly recommended them to him.
The only thing I could criticize is their range of parts, but it keeps pricing sane. If you're trying to go way lower or way higher in specs, somewhere else could fit better. If you're looking for something that these guys have set parts for, this is the best place.

"Just got my custom PC from these guys, and it's amazing. I'm a photographer and videographer, and I needed a system tailored to meet the high demands of Adobe Premiere Pro, specifically to edit 4K timelines. These guys were patient, easy to get a hold of, and helpful throughout the entire buying process. The PC arrived today, and it's absolutely amazing. Shipped super quick. Highly recommend this company."
"First of, let me thank Mike, who patiently dealt with numerous phone calls and emails.....Before and after the sale.
No need to go into why I selected ecollege pc for my build....their reputation speaks for itself. I ordered my PC on September 25th. It arrived with a badly damaged case....a hole that went through all three boxes, the Styrofoam, and, smashed the bottom left -back of the case. Obviously this occurred during shipping...blame it on FedEx. Mike said to return it as is with no cost to me. I decided to "upgrade" the case to something a little more sturdy....I was only charged the "difference" between the two cases...nothing added on. The second machine arrived fine, or so i thought....ran fine the first day, then, wouldn't post the next morning. Mike coached me via email the process of resetting the motherboard manually (case didn't have a reset switch) worked fine 'till next boot...then, the PC failed to post again. Called mike and we discovered that the mobo indicator lights suggested a DRAM issue, he suggested trying one RAM stick a time, ect...Nothing worked, so he actually over-nighted me a different brand of DRAM with the same "spec" via Amazon. Still no post. Had to send the PC back to them again!
Turns out the the Ryzen 7 3700X processor had become partially dislodged from the socket.....something that does occur with Ryzen CPU's. Mike suggested going with and Intel i7 9700k (actually serves my computing need better) because of the Ryzen socket issues, which meant a different motherboard (basically the same board, but for Intel processors) and an after market CPU cooler. Cost-wise the CPU and mobo probably evened out, then you must add the Noctura CPU cooler at around 50+bucks. Then, during stress-testing, they discovered that the GPU was sagging and causing the fans to clip something which caused the unit to run hot...they replaced it with another (RTX 2060 Super) from MSI..Which is running as cool as an Autumn breeze.
All of this...shipping to Wilmington DE from St. Louis MO three times and the other way twice, the replacement parts and all of the extra testing.....and I wasn't charged a dime more than the original purchase price.
My apologies about this long-winded review, but, i must mention their excellent pricing and their no no-nonsense website configurator.....no nonsensical flashing and banging...just basic and well done......besides, one good turn deserves another, eh?

"I have been building/modding/overclocking my own PCs for 25 years. But as I now have more money than time, i decided to splurge on a custom rig. After 2 months researching and comparing sites, i went with eCollegePC. For significantly less cost, and time, I got a beast of a machine, with the cleanest install I have ever seen! Mike took care of all of the tedious cable routing, Windows install, and stability testing so that i just hit Power On and I was off! Im running a 9900k 1.26 Vcore at 5 GHz all cores with temps in the mid 80s during my more demanding games. Under the heaviest stress tests it can hit 90 degrees, but I think thats pretty good compared to a lot of 9900ks. The Phantek case plus the Corsair 150i Pro and the extra super clean work that Mike put in, all contribute to great temps, and nearly silent operation. The $3800 or so i spent, wouldn't have gone nearly as far with sites like Origin, etc. A 9900k at 5 GHz all cores, 32 GB G Skill RJ 3200 DDR4 running at 3600 MHz in a ROG Maximus XI Code, with a Corsair AX1200i, an overclocked Asus 2080 Super, and many terabytes of super fast storage... all built and delivered in under 1 week! Mike also breaks records with the speed of his replies to any and all questions. I am in Nerdvana! Thank you Mike, you guys make it possible for those of us who don't want to spend $6000 plus to still run dream machines!

"Unbeatable prices, unbelievable customer service. Just email mike, they can put whatever you want in your rig however you want it. Quality and detail on the assembly was perfect. The corsair case with corsair RGB components with ICUE is amazing. 2080ti super with I7-9700K. "
"I wanted to build a new gaming PC (July 2019) but hadn't done so in a very long time - I just don't have the time and I haven't kept current with some technology. So I started searching for pre-built options. I was very turned off by most of the larger company's flashy web sites and negative reviews - not to mention prices. I dug a little deeper and that was when I found eCollege. Although I was a bit nervous, I decided to take a chance based on their positive reviews.
I'm very happy I did. I waited two months before writing this review to ensure there were no issues. The PC came packed very well, setup and ran immediately and has done so ever since. I am running some very high end games, with extremely customized settings and everything has been perfect. I recently reached out to Mike at eCollege to inquire about additional upgrades and he responded very promptly with suggestions that fit my needs.
I am very satisfied with my purchase and would encourage anyone looking for a new PC to consider eCollege. You won't be disappointed. "
"Bought a power system in 2016. Packaged perfectly and everything was in order to boot it up. I had a number of initial questions which were answered promptly. I then bought my son a similar computer and he’s experienced no problems in 3.5 years. Even after nearly 4 years, Mike is still available for support questions, but in terms of functionality, I’ve not had a single problem."
"Hands down the best PC builders you can ever come across. very quick and very honest and they ordered things that I couldn't find on their site just so they can build the PC I wanted. 10/10 costumer services."
"PC was built well and worked perfectly, and they even reached out to make sure I had a graphics card as I built my machine without one on their website. Would definitely go through them again and they were significantly cheaper than other options!

"This was the first time I purchased a pre-built rig off any website (I used to have time to build more, but that is no longer the case). I did my research on over a dozen sites and I kept coming back to this one due to its simple website interface, the products it offered, the warranty and the fair prices, not to mention the already outstanding reviews.
Let me add to them by saying this: the computer was built fast and built well. I received my rig via FedEx within a week and a half of ordering. Everything looked good out of the box, but when it came time to gaming, there was a few hiccups involving the dreaded BSOD. After doing some troubleshooting on my own and emailing Mike a couple of times, I narrowed the issue down to a bad stick of RAM. Mike sent me a fed ex label the next day to return the bad stick and also sent me a new replacement stick via priority mail. After two days, I received the new stick, ran the memory tests and everything is great now.
While it wasn't my preference to receive a bad part, it is hardly the fault of eCollegePC, parts can be defective. My biggest takeaway from the whole experience was how easy eCollegePC made the whole exchange and the great communication they had with me, the customer. While I am sure there are more employees, I have to give a special shout out to Mike who answered both the sales and support emails (always within 12 hours) and was quick to put any fears I had of getting the runaround to rest with his answers and solutions to my issue.
I would certainly recommend this seller due to their excellent customer service, their great 3 year warranty and their craftsmanship when building custom PCs. One only needs one interaction with them to see why they have been at it so long and successfully. Will definitely be purchasing my next rig at eCollegePC. I have already touted them to my friends and family as I know a lot of PC gamers."
"Hi
I’ve waited a longtime to write this review in order to make a thorough evaluation.
The build is now about 3 years old and unlike every other gaming PC I’ve owned, it has never had a single issue or required even routine maintenance.
I’ve been a gamer for approximately 30 years and have owned many PC based system; both brand name gaming PC’s and custom builds; always on a modest budget.
This is by far the most trouble free system I have ever owned and at the top of my list of the best performing gaming PC’s I’ve ever had.
Some systems were expensive and some were middle tier rigs but all and all this is the best overall box I’ve ever had.
I have always pushed games to their max capabilities, in single-player mode, monitor set 60Hz refresh rate and VSync disabled: Very demanding games such as Metro: Last Light Redux, Crysis 3, Battlefield 1 and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
This box rarely goes above a cool 22.3°C; even running wide open with unlimited Ragdoll/ NPC’s & frames it has never stuttered or froze up.
Not too bad for a CPU released in 2015, but it’s all you need:
It is a water cooled Core i5-6600K OC’d @ 4.2; ASUS Z170-A motherboard; MSI GeForce GTX 1070 card; CORSAIR Cooling Hydro Series H60 120mm Water Cooler; 240GB Solid State Drive SATA3; 16GB Crucial PC4 17000 DDR4 2133Mhz; 24X LG SATA Dual Layer DVD /-RW/CDRW; Windows 10 64bit; 1000watt PS; In a Thermaltake Core X71 CA-1F8-00M1WN-00 Black ATX full tower.
I paid $1,598.00
Additionally, its VR ready evaluation is “… performing well above recommended … average quality is 10.8, frames tested 12,792 @ 0 (0%) below 90 fps; frames CPU bound 5 (0%).
I will definitely go back to eCollegePC if out live this rig

"Recently purchased a gaming PC from eCollege and am loving the new machine. All of the parts used in the machine are high quality, brand name components and were competitively priced compared to the other big builders.
PC came in great shape, was built and delivered quickly, had all of the cables **** out of sight, and worked immediately.
Thank you! I will definitely be purchasing my next PC here as well."
