"Ordered data wire for a mini split & paid extra $41 for overnight delivery on Thursday late morning, to ensure we would recieve by at least Monday morning for the install. It did not arrive until Monday after 5pm.
We called eComfort for refund & they refused delivery refund even though it did not arrive overnight as stated on the invoice. They offered a return but I have to pay for the return delivery. And if thats not bad enough, I have to pay for the return! Never use them again."

Once I have fulfilled their warranty requirements ecomfort writes a nasty one page letter stating their position starting with..."let me make this perfectly clear..."
Can you believe this trashy organization? Go elsewhere as I have a backlog of repairs caused by their trash. Immediately after I purchase a unit from ecomfort it has become obsolete!"
"I've been buying products from eComfort for several years, including 4 mini-split heat pumps. Their website has a wealth of good information, they've got a wide range of products and their prices are good. I recently had a problem with a product and to me how a company responds when there is an issue is the real test. I was extremely impressed with eComfort's support and follow through. You can get a real person on the line and they will actually do what they can to help. In this case, I needed a warranty part. They approved the request within 24 hours and expedited shipment of the part. They've definitely earned my business."
"bought a Williams heater that ended up being a piece of garbage. Tried to return it for refund and I was denied because I hooked the unit up. Once you hook it up it’s non returnable they tell me. Wondering how someone is supposed to know unit doesn’t work properly if it’s not hooked up. Stay away from ecomfort and I’d stay away from Williams heaters too. I tried calling them for help and they referred me back to ecomfort. Both companies are terrible. I lost $2,000 because I used these 2 companies."

"I purchased line sets from this company in 2018. The line sets failed at the four year mark. Complete garbage product that eComfort sold. It costed me $1800 to fix. Went back-and-forth with customer service and they would not make good on the garbage product that they sold. They kept making excuses that it must’ve been the installation. Even after I showed pictures of the line set failure was in the middle of the piping, they still would not own up to it. So you’ve been warned. They sell cheap inferior garbage products that will fail. Please do yourself a favor and go to a professional local supply house."
"If I could give zero stars I would give zero stars. I am three days shy of one year of my $13,000 of equipment being installed. I purchased two 54,000 BTU mini split condensers with eight heads for for each unit. Within the first six months I had already spent an additional $1500 for service and repairs for defective merchandise. Add to that the additional $1500 it cost me to have the new condenser installed to replace the defective one. They may send you defective product and will continue sending you parts every time you need it fixed however you would’ve been better off going through a company that would’ve warrantee the product and you not deal with the headache. In one years time I have had three LG 54,000 BTU condensers go bad and the company just replaces parts and tells me to eat the labor. In the last year I’ve spent over $5000 in service to include the labor and for 10 the defective unit leaked on 9 pounds out of one of the units From a defective part. The constant come back is there following what the manufacturer tells them to do however they stick the customer with thousands of dollars in repairs out of pocket."

They should have replaced it and e comfort should work it out with there defective supplier. Now if the unit ran for a couple months then broke I would understand it's my problem. Do not buy from this company.....read the reviews first, wish I had!!!"
"I bought a LG mini split AC from these guys after I received all the item we installed and found out that the outside unit has a Small leak and needs to be replaced since it is a brand new unit and no one knows where the leak is from since there is tens of different parts that could Cause the leak. Make the story short I contacted e Comfort and they tell me that my technician needs to do a Troubleshooting with LG technician on the phone to find the leak, when I asked them who’s going to pay for my technician they told me I am responsible!!! Really!!! I’ve been going back-and-forth with them emails and phone calls with no luck. So basically they told me in writing that once I received the item I have 30 days to return in original box. Once I open the box and installed then I can’t return the item.
I want to share this so no one else will get trapped like me. I have Learned my lesson the hard way."

"I ordered a mini split system from ecomfort. The outdoor unit shipped in a reasonable amount of time. But it has been nearly a month, and I still do not have the indoor units. This is holding up my install. When I ordered the line sets from ecomfort no where on their site did it state that I needed a combined total of 49 feet of line set. I found this out after I received the outdoor unit and installation manual. I had to return one line set and purchase a longer one to meet the minimum required ft of line set. I paid for the return shipping, but ecomfort also charged me for return shipping although I had already paid for the return shippi9ng myself. I still do not have the indoor units, and no where on ecomfort's website did it indicate they were on back order. All I have to say is RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS COMPANY! I will never purchase another thing from ecomfort. Powerequipmentdirect.com is the same company, so don't purchase from them either, both terrible!"
"I'm very disappointed with eComfort.com and LG for not covering Warranty Parts that were replaced by my plumber. All proper forms were filed out. The Parts are covered under warranty. However, because my plumber did not order the replacement parts thru eComfort.com the Warranty Dept says they will not issue a check back to me! VERY SAD and I will never do business again with eComfort OR Power Equipment Direct!!!"

"This company is horrible, order from anyone else but them. I made a purchase on a Friday night and immediately decided to cancel and couldn’t do it until Monday since they are not open on weekends. I called first thing Monday morning to cancel and a “request” was put in. About an hour later they send me an email stating my order has been shipped. Now I am trying to return the item that I canceled prior to them shipping it and they are charging me $300 for shipping the item back. I was never supposed to receive the item cause I canceled prior to them shipping the item.. they will not work to resolve your issues so save yourselves the headaches and find a reputable company that will actually work with their consumers. FIND A BETTER VENDOR I LEARNED THE HARD WAY"
