"It was absolutely the worst online experience ever! They posted an item that was not in stock, sent confirmation emails as if the order was successful. I waited for shipping information and began to wonder what was going on. I called customer service to find out that the order had been cancelled. I was was told by the rep that they STILL try to fulfil the order anyway. I explained to the rep that was against the law to post an item they know is not available, then not even inform me of the order status, but yet and still they kept my money. I am reporting eCost to the BBB for failing to remove an item they no longer have access to. I do not have this issue with EBay or Amazon. I tried eCost based on a referral from my coworker, and will tell her that it won't happen again!!!"

Since this was a mothers day gift it was extremely embarrassing to have to give my mom something that was damaged as a gift which was listed as new. When I asked if I could Just exchange the item for something not damaged as my mom liked the item they told me that they could not do that."

"I purchased the Samsung ATIV Smart PC pro 700T along with a keyboard. I realized after i received the shipment that the tablet comes with the keyboard. I called ecost.com representative who was very courteous and helped me with the return authorization. They refunded the full amount for the keyboard but I had to pay for the return shipment.
Shipment of the order was prompt and I was able to find the lowest listed price on this merchant's website.
The only comment i have is for the merchant to take the extra step to clarify on the product specification page by including a section called "what is included in the box" similar to what other large online websites do."
