"Received EXPIRED product in my order, called their TollFree 188553560 no answered. So many complaints on the internet about this company doing unethical way of selling expired products and I've should listen. Do not shop at efooddepot and be the victim of expired product like me!"
"Have received three $75 and over orders within last 12 months to my full satisfaction. Merchandise (primarily Indonesian/Dutch articles) is of good quality and well within expiration dates. Fragile stuff like beschuit etc. will always be risky, no matter from where and how shipped/packaged (Randall's sells it in their Houston stores). Pricing is competitive and we will definitely remain regular customer."

OUTDATED stale candy products, random products thrown in that I didn't order and missing things I did order. No response to their "online chat" no matter how long I waited, no response to repeated emails, no email order confirmation or shipping info. I will be pursuing this with my credit card company for a refund. "
"Efooddepot.com sent me outdated product. The date on the jar lid was smudged and illegible, which made me suspect. ...but there was a second date, harder to see on the jar itself. The product was two weeks out of date. I would highly recommend shopping elsewhere."
"First off, the customer service was really bad. They didn't ship the package on time. When i called to cancel my order, they didn't even try to persuade me not to cancel.
But a week after they sent the package to my house. All the orders were correct even though I have already received my money back.
I think that the workers are actually trying really hard to work better. In the future I will surely shop here more and give them another chance. "

"I recently ordered a selection of Asian Gourmet packets as well as Poonjiajis Sliced Mango Pickle in Vinegar (Amba) - 35oz. Shipping was fast, but the mango pickle bottle was shattered, having been rolled into a cardboard sleeve, but with no cushioning. No big deal. When brought to their attention, they refunded the cost of the mango, with no refund for the weight surcharge or shipping, and told me they could not resend the item, which I would have preferred. When I went back on the sight, there is the product, ready to ship. I am unimpressed and will look for another supplier."
"My experience with them is happy, upset, and then happy again. I was happy to find some items that I always wanted but not available even in some Asian stores. The prices are average, not super low, not too high either. I made my order and was happy when I received the package. Everything was neatly wrapped and shipping was fast. I got upset when I didn't see what I really wanted. So I contacted the customer service and they did write back to explain. Many many days later, I actually found the item that I thought was missing and got back to them and have received very postitive response. Overall, I'm happy and would definitely do business with them again."

Emailed eFoodDepot, and they promptly refunded the sum of that missed item to me. However, two of the items were expired!! And again, I am not impressed by their tactic of pasting their company's sticker over the expiry date. "

"I had looked all over Las Vegas for Yamasa Soy Sauce & could not find it. I googled it and efooddepot came up. The price seemed reasonable so I ordered it. The soy sauce arrived promptly & the packaging was done extremely well. I will most certainly purchase from them again."
"I have ordered from the company on 4 separate occasions and have never had a problem with refunds for one missing item and for 4 items damaged in shipping. Although it took awhile, they resolved the issue to my satisfaction. I have never received expired products from them and enjoy their wide and varied selection of international items. I would appreciate a better description of each item as some things I am interested in I am a little hesitant to purchase as I dont know exactly what they are used for. I will be purchasing from them in the future."
"I'm very satisfied with my on-line order. Email notification of order was received instantaneously. Shipment notification was sent out within 2 days of the order date and order of multiple items was received correctly."
"I ordered quite a few items on a weekend and contacted them via live help on their website the next day to cancel the order. I was told that I would not be charged. A week later, i noticed that I was in fact charged yet nothing shipped. I contacted them again and told them to refund my card and that i have already contacted my credit card and filed a charge back. I was told that i would be refunded. However, the next day i received a Fedex tracking number that my items shipped. I contacted Fedex and told them that I would like the item to not be delivered and returned to the shipper. Fedex returned the item back and i contacted my credit card again and updated them with the information. This morning, i received a letter from my credit card that the charge back was decided in my favor.
If you run into issues with efooddepot, please do a charge back. I ordered items from them prior to reading reviews and it's scary how they are still in business after all the complaints i have been reading about them."
