"Stay away!!! Sent old, expired food and some items damaged due to poor packing. Miserable customer service! They don't answer the phone and don't respond to emails."
"On January 22, 2011 I placed an order here for a hefty snack purchase. Nearly $80.00 worth of mochi really... all stated to be IN STOCK and thus available for delivery.
On February 7, 2011 I emailed the site via their contact information page to ask about the status of my order. On February 13, 2011 I emailed them again. I still have not received an emailed response, as of February 17, 2011. Though on February 17, 2011 I was able to contact Customer Service Representative Niki via the online chat.

Natoshia: An email of this delay would have been good customer service. I've been charged for this purchase and want SOMETHING to know i'm not being scammed.

After checking the reviews here, I decided to cancel the order. About 30 minutes after the first conversation, I get Niki again.

"Fulfilling the order took a few weeks. Then I heard from Fedex that the shipment would not be delivered because the packaging was no good and it was broken. I then began trying and trying to get information, and eventually I just wanted a refund. As of today, a month later, I'm getting ready to do a charge hack with Visa. "
"eFoodDepot is a total sham company. I placed an order for a wide variety of goods, and after waiting for the delivery, I contacted them via email. No answer.
So I called them, and the "machine" plays a sham message. Avoid eFoodDepot.com at all cost.
I have instructed them to cancel the transaction.

"Placed this order on Jan 13,2010. With all attempts to follow up for 2 weeks not one single response.
I did cancel the order via email since I could not reach anyone nor would I get answers to emails.
I watched my bank account for a month and nothing was charged so I assumed they did cancel my order.
Not so fast, on June 20th 2010 I get a confirmation email that my package has shipped. I was not sure what it was until I went online and checked to find out I was charged $34 out of a $80 order I placed. Again, all attempts to contact them resulted in no response.
I emailed them and told them I will dispute the charge which I did, and asked for a return shipping label since package was left at door.
Absolutely nothing from them yet the only thing I was able to do with them was to place an order on Jan 13. In addition (and this is being investigated) but my debit card has been canceled 2 days after I sent them an email informing them I have disputed the charge with the bank, I had 2 fraudulent charged debited to my account, both small but no the less I ended the life of the card.
This place spells danger. Be aware and try to call or use the live chat see how many times you will get an answer.
I would NOT recommend them for anything period."
