"Like rylwats I ordered an unlocked D900i from eGizmo. This was the 3rd attempt at getting this phone - the first was through Amazon, but was put on backorder for so long I canceled it. The second was from some guy on eBay that never sent the phone out and had to give me a refund. At this point I needed the phone within a few days, and I needed it fully functional before I left to an important trip. I ordered the phone on a Friday and received it on Tuesday.

Open the package and it's exactly how he said he received it, not invoice or packing material, the T-Mobile model, a travel adapter and a power converter. However, I don't get his problem. The phone is unlocked and works fine with my AT&T (I did have to manually configure the WAP and MMS to get it to work, which was a pain, but they do work). The travel charger comes with that model (read the manual) and it was nice of them to include a free adapter (very nice, actually). The only real "problem" is that since it's a T-Mobile the browser is called "T-Zones" which is lame and it has this icon called "Walk n Web" that does nothing for me. You can't complain about getting a phone in 3 business days that works perfectly."

"Terrible experience. I ordered a Samsung D900i unlocked. Received it with a T-Mobil brand, which I hadn't requested. Received order with out any receipt or packing slip. The phone also came with a travel charger with a huge European 3-pronged plug and an outlet adapter. This wasn't disclosed in advance.

I had a very difficult time reaching CS: voice mail doesn't take messages; e-mail wasn't returned; my order number was invalid; my log-in didn't work. I finally reached someone on the phone. I was told that the Samsung/T-Mobil model was the only one that carried a warranty. The enclosed warranty is for the UK and requires that it be completed by the dealer (it wasn't) and require proof of purchase to validate the warranty. When I questioned egizmo about the lack of a receipt or paper work I was told it wasn't included to save paper. To which I said 'bull s##t;' that not how business is done. At that point the Customer Disservice Agent told me he wasn't sending me a receipt, and to return the phone because he didn't do business with people who used profanity. The entire transaction seemed highly questionable and underhanded. We'll see what happens when it comes to a full refund.

"I bought a 2 nokia phones from egizmo.com the day after new years, and got a shipping confirmation the same day (I wanted them shipped UPS ground to save money). I tracked the progress on the UPS website, and the phones were delivered to me a week later. Both were brand new, in box, unlocked, and with everything new. I called egizmo the same day, and after only a 30 second hold they helped me set the phones up for me and for my wife. Great bunch of guys and gals they have over there, since I later returned my wife's phone because she decided to get the iPhone, and they gave me no hassle whatsoever, and issued a prompt refund as per their terms. I give them A+ all around."

"I bought an LG KU990 phone form egizmo on the 21st of December in the evening. The next morning I got an email that the phone was shipped and was able to track its progress via UPS. UPS obviously screwed up and delayed my phone shipment b/c of X-mas, but eGizmo worked diligently with me and UPS to make sure I got my phone in very short order. Because the late delivery was UPS's fault, eGizmo applied for and recieved a refund of the shipping charges from UPS, and what's great is that they promplty refunded me the amount I would have paid for shipping (even though they never charged me for it b/c shipping was free) and also and sent me generous coupon for a future purchase, which I plan to use very soon. Excellent company. Great communication. And very honest."
