"I ordered front and rear carpet for a 2014 Ford Flex. The carpet arrived in a timely manner but when I went to install it I found that it had to be trimmed. I had figured that would be the case so I had saved the old carpet to use as a template. I completed trimming the new carpet but when I tried to install it I found that the molding process was not accurate to the factory carpet. The best example is in the front right corner of the driver footwell by the gas pedal. The carpet is not molded properly and has to be cut vertically down to the floor in the corner to allow the sides to overlap so that the carpet will stay flat. If you don't trim it like this the carpet will remain bunched up behind the pedal and create a potential hazard. If you do cut the carpet vertically so it overlaps and lays flat you still have a potential hazard if one of the pieces curls back over time and if you trim off the overlap you then have an open seam where dirt and debris can get underneath your carpet and onto your floorpan.
The carpets "pile" was fine. Nothing special but it certainly wasn't bad. It's the poor quality of the molding that made the carpet unusable. I sent an email to the company four days ago on 22March2020 ago requesting a return authorization for the unused portion of my order but they have yet to respond. I also now see that they charge a 30% restocking fee for returns. This is typically the case when companies have a lot of returns because they sell a shoddy product. I wish I would have seen that sooner so I could have avoided this company altogether."
"Purchasing parts was great. Receiving parts was great. But the part I ordered was the wrong part for my car and when I requested to return it I was told I couldn't because it was a "fuel part". It was never taken out of the package. I opened the box to look at it and placed it back in the box. Never tried to install it at all. It was like a $200 part that I can't use and was just wanting to return it thinking I could get my money back and your company would have this part to sell again since it was never opened. I plan on calling the company and seeing what can be done."

"They are a 3rd party! Basically you order the part through them. They contact the dealership over a week or two later. Then the dealership sends you the part! Be careful! I confirmed my order thinking that I will get my part on that date provided. Well that’s the date that the dealership will be notified. Then the dealership sends it out. It’s been 8 days and the dealership doesn’t have the request. But FPG has my money and no refunds or returns!! And if your part is defective you have to send it back to FPG NOT the dealership! And the entire process starts all over. So spend the extra money and buy from the dealership. At least you will have the part that day or 2 days later. AND if you want your money back for any reason, they will give you the money back when you return the item. I will never ever use Ford Parts Giant ever again!! "
