"Ordered Ford 6E7Z-12A690-DA connector. FordPartsGiant shows metal retaining clip in their picture. I asked on their website part inquiry if the part actually had the metal retaining clip and not the cheap plastic retainer ears as shown on other websites for the same part number. They wrote back that the connector did indeed have the metal retainer clip. Based on this, I ordered the part. I received the part today, and, you guessed it....cheap plastic retainer ears that will break the first time I have to remove the connector. "
