"Tried to use it for legit medical services abroad, in a cheap country, so that my refund would be less than the cost of insurance, and they refuse to pay on the excuse that the itemization for services provided is not standardized. An insurance that promises to work anywhere should know that multiple administrations abroad will have different standards in reporting expenses. But this is a very convenient excuse not to pay my refund. So, another insurance that only walks with your money. Will never use again."
"Luckily we did not need to make a claim (yahoo). I am delighted to know that my coverage will be in place for a full year."
"I had a great experience. Using the Web site to enroll when I had a question I called and spoke to a man who was very helpful."
"It was easy & affordable to purchase. We didn't use it but was comforting having the coverage. "
"First, I sit on the phone for an hour while they try to find a hospital for me. Then, toward the end of the process, it disconnects, leaving me to sit on the phone for another hour while I work my way back to the front of the line. Then, it seems like it's all good, but the hospital I go to says it doesn't work with Geoblue, leaving me to pay $75 out of pocket. Geoblue reimburses some, but not all, of my claim, because one of my six pictures was slightly blurry. Sadly, there seems to be no way to update the claim with the new pic, so I have to either submit a new claim or contact them through email. They tell me to just email the pic, but the address they gave me was wrong, so I tried the general customer service one. I have yet to hear back and my claim hasn't changed at all in the last 3 weeks. I only rate them so high because I've always been fully reimbursed before, and I'm sure I will again. I just wish the process wasn't so inconvenient and broken."
"The good news is that I did not have to use the travel insurance. However, it gave me great peace of mind to have the insurance in case I needed it."
"Geo blue was recommended me couldn’t be happier with the process and the coverage and prices"
"The cruise line has already handled all other insurance. This is the best plan if you want a medical only policy. It’s a very fair price. "
"Signing up online was very easy and the cost is significantly lower than buying insurance through the car rental company. Fortunately, we didn’t have a claim, so can’t comment on claim service quality."
"Had to visit doctor 3 times in Iceland. Absolutely seamless, flawless experience and coverage. "
"I understand the higher risk with aging, but it makes foreign travel challenging in the event of a health emergency."
"Didn’t receive confirmation until I was out of the country. Was told I needed to ‘register’. When I went to the site it wasn’t mobile friendly which made it difficult to complete- wouldn’t go through so I couldn’t register- waste of $"
"Used this company several times. Luckily, I have never had a claim. Just relaxed knowing I have the protection "
"I still don’t have a card for my insurance"
