"Tried to use it for legit medical services abroad, in a cheap country, so that my refund would be less than the cost of insurance, and they refuse to pay on the excuse that the itemization for services provided is not standardized. An insurance that promises to work anywhere should know that multiple administrations abroad will have different standards in reporting expenses. But this is a very convenient excuse not to pay my refund. So, another insurance that only walks with your money. Will never use again."

"I purchased the coverage on line as I had last August for a previous trip to Sweden. In neither case did I have a reason to test the coverage you provided. But when I ordered it last year, I received paper documents showing my coverage on line just a few days later. I took comfort in carrying those documents with me on my trip. While it did not give me a plastic ID cars similar to the ones you get from many other insurance firms, there was a paper one I could cut out and stick in my wallet with my there ID cards.
This April when I went online to order the same coverage, I got nothing in the mail. I did have effectively a receipt that I printed down after purchasing the coverage.... but I didn't have anything that looked like a policy or an ID card! I found this very disturbing. Fortunately, I didn't have any problems.
Now I have no reason to assume that your coverage would have been anything short of fantastic. But, I can tell you that when you purchase coverage like this you do it for the peace of mind it provides. Receiving something that looks very clearly like a pocket ID card would provide that. I did get one last year....even though it was only paper. But this year I got nothing in the mail, and what I printed down from the website looked like a long contract with nothing as straight forward as a pocket ID card with just the key information like your name, my name, the policy number, and a phone number or web address.
