An insurance that promises to work anywhere should know that multiple administrations abroad will have different standards in reporting expenses. But this is a very convenient excuse not to pay my refund. So, another insurance that only walks with your money. Will never use again."

"The purchase experience and coverage are great, and pricing is very reasonable. So far, fortunately, I haven't had to find out how easy or hard it is to use, but knowing it's there certainly provides peace of mind. The one thing I would love to change is how you have to pay the annual membership fee to the Global Citizens Association each time, even when you've already paid it once or multiple times this year. Yes, there's a way to claim it back, but it involves GCA mailing a paper cheque to you and, as such, it's not really worth the hassle."

"Like many of those who purchase health insurance for an out of the USA trip, we did it for peace of mind. We wanted to have coverage while in Europe, just in case. This plan was reasonable priced, BCBS is respected and it included excellent coverage. Medicare does not cover medical expenses out of country so this coverage for a nominal price provided peace of mind. We did not end up, fortunately, using it.
The question of course is how well a medical need would be handled if required, and how well a claim would be handled if the insurance was used. This I cannot comment on, but I would encourage research to confirm claims are paid with reasonable documentation."
