But this is a very convenient excuse not to pay my refund. So, another insurance that only walks with your money. Will never use again."
"We have used GeoBlue for several cruises in the past. The prices are reasonable and setting up the insurance is very easy. I trust Blue Cross as a company too. Thankfully, we have never had to use this travel insurance but I am glad to have the peace of mind that we have it if we are out of the country and need it."

"My husband and I decided to try annual medical-only travel insurance. The GeoBlue Trekker Choice policy has some nice features: coverage for pre-existing conditions, telemedicine, and Medevac transport if indicated. The company seems to have an extensive list of care providers in different countries. On the last day of a trip to Cartagena I broke my ankle. The clinic listed on the GeoBlue app matched the hotel's recommendation. The clinic provided efficient and high quality care; my ankle was x-rayed & booted, and I was sent away with all the necessary documents and access to online images to continue care in the US AND get a wheelchair **** on my flights home. The GeoBlue claim forms were easy to complete and I received a check to cover all costs but the $100 deductible in 26 days. I would have given GeoBlue 5 stars except for the difficulty of determining if there was a local in-network provider who would accept payment from GeoBlue rather than asking the patient to pay up front. The app does not display that information. After the accident, when I was questioning a GeoBlue customer service agent about this issue, it took about 10 minutes for even the agent to find which providers were in-network. Ten minutes is a long time when you are in an emergency trying to decide where to get care. If GeoBlue can find a way to keep the app information on in-network providers updated that would be helpful. Otherwise, the GeoBlue insurance worked well for me."

"I had a medical emergency while fishing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I spent 2 days in the local hospital and submitted a claim to GeoBlue with nothing more than a credit card receipt and a bill from the hospital. The invoice from the Mexican hospital listed only the total amount due without any supporting treatment documentation. It took over a year but I finally received a reimbursement check in full from GeoBlue.
