"I ordered roadmate 800 via phone. the CSR offered me warranty for the product stating that it was on sale for 49.95. I got it and when I received the product, the warranty was for LCD. I called back and after waiting over phone for long time, the lady said that CSR made a mistake and asked me to return the warranty card and tried to sell me another warranty for roadmate. (I knew that there are no serviceable parts in roadmate 800 as per manufacturer website) So I refused the new warranty and I returned the warranty card by registered mail because if they say that they did not get it, I would not get the money back. After two weeks, I had to send email explaining everything and a request to issue the credit. Two days after I got email stating that $45 have been refunded. I sent an email back explaining that it was their fault to give me wrong warranty at first place, why they deducted $5 and there is no response ever.
The catch with those warranty is that they do not specify anything and after four years who remembers and what? complete waste of money to buy warranty from them."

"I bought a Denon AVR-3805 receiver and Denon DVD-1920 DVD player from ibuyplasma.com. I always get scared buying this type of equipment from online merchants, especially ones that state up front that if anything is defective I can't return it, I must work with the manufacturer.
The rating history of ibuyplasma.com is exceptionally good, given the rock bottom prices they have. So I placed my order Sept 7th. The shipping rates are very reasonable. I opted to pay $30 extra to get both items sent via FedEx 3-day instead of the standard FedEx Ground.
I got a tracking number for the DVD player right away and it showed the shipment go out Sept 8th and on the 9th it left NJ, or wherever. For the next 6 days the FedEx site did not update and the equipment did not arrive. I called ibuyplasma and got to a person in only a minute or two. The guy had to check with the shipping dept to fund the tracking number for the receiver that I was never sent. The guy said something screwed up and the items were not shipped 3-Day, they went Ground. The guy said I would be refunded the $30 I paid for the faster shipping.
I got my receiver and DVD player a day or two later. Both were in perfect condition and are working great.
I still haven't received the $30 reversed on my credit card and it's been more than a week. I will have to call them about that.
Overall I have happy with ibuyplasma.com. The important qualities seem to all be there. I have only ordered from them one time and I haven't had to deal with them about any problems, so I don't have any experience in that area.
I will order from them again and will recommend them to others for now."

Since I didn't want my CC to be shared with whole internet I called in. Sales guy was very rude when I mentioned that I don't want to use internet because they are not secure he tried to hangup saying "phone is not secure either". When I asked him to tell his tech guys to fix security issue he offered to transfer me to tech guys instead of taking my order. When I asked order to be shipped to different address he refused saying that they don't do it, well, on their web-site they do.
Price was better than some other places, product was shipped and delivered on-time. Except web-site security and rudeness of staff everything is OK."
