"In response to iKeyless, you respond to me via this website, but I receive no replies back from the emails I sent? Thank you for reminding me that I had a 30 day money back guarantee return, unfortunately, that time has expired. Commenting on this website has gotten me the most response from your company, other than the wonderful help of David when the remote was not working. I'd like to thank him for all his help. He is the reason I gave any stars.

I have received a response and I do take it back, iKeyless did not lie about the price. It just so happens that my Scion does not take the Scion remote (which I ordered according to their website's recommendation with this stated: "Description
This device is a transmitter that operates your vehicle's Remote Keyless Entry System. It is a genuine factory/OEM remote meant to operate your specific vehicle."). I apologize for not knowing that what was recommended was incorrect, and that a 2005 Scion XA would need a 2001 Toyota Avalon remote. Also, yes there is a section in the terms and conditions which states the company does sell a combination of refurbished and new items, depending what they have in stock. I hope future buyers are just aware they might get something dirty and old (but definitely in working condition), but if luck be with them, they get a new item. Unfortunately, I have to lower my rating because I now know that their ordering system is sometimes misleading and may cause other consumers to receive the wrong remote for their vehicles.

My order was quick to arrive, but they sent me a remote that was not the correct one for my vehicle. I emailed customer service and they said they will ship one out to me as soon as they receive their shipment in. They sent the correct remote, along with a prepaid label to ship back the incorrect remote (their return policy states this). Unfortunately, I didn't realize I was receiving a used remote (it was so well used that I can barely see "unlock", although some of "lock" is still visible, and it's dirty) When I asked customer service about it, they told me that sometimes they get in used ones (because they sell both new and refurbished remotes), and that the correct one that I currently have (which is a Toyota brand) costs $10 more than the incorrect one and they are already giving me a discount of $20. I understand that I may have a "better remote" because it is a brand name, but when I looked online, both prices are the same, and when ordering, it does not clarify that it may be new or refurbished (although I can't seem to find anything on their website that says they sell refurbished items). So basically, I was told a lie in the end.

Overall, their customer service was great over the phone (I called once about when the correct item will be shipped) and they did correct the mistake they made. But why do they have to lie about the pricing? I emailed customer service asking if they have received the remote I returned and about the remote prices being the same online. Just waiting for a response.

"I felt extremely betrayed when I found out I could only get my key cut at a dealership and they told me they were not allowed to cut the type of metal they use. I called all kinds of locksmiths and key cutters but they aren't allowed to do laser cutting on this VW beetle 2008 and so I sent back the key but still don't think I ever got my money returned."

"I ordered 2 replacement remote fobs. At first I could not get the fob to work, but found out that I had opened the case and put the battery back in backwards. I was surprised how quick and simple the process was. I have not completed the 2nd remote yet. The instuction copy was a little blurred and I confused myself by not reading the instuctions thoughout, but went online to get instructions to program. After getting the new instuctions, I found out it was me and not the instructions sent by IKEY.

The pricing was great, the remotes look great and the programming is simple. I would recommend this site and the replacement fobs.
