"The sauna came well packed and in just about a week (which was significantly faster than the original estimate). The assembly was easy and took somewhere around 30min-1hour. The only tool required is the Philips screwdriver. Since it’s made from solid pieces of wood it is quite heavy. I think it can be assembled by a single person, but I do recommend having a partner to simplify the process. The second person doesn’t need to be strong (I did it with my wife) and only need to balance the panel vertically before it could be secured with the latches.
Overall I am pretty happy with the quality of the materials and construction of the sauna. My only complaint is that it takes a little longer to heat up to 120F, in my case takes about 30-35 minutes instead of 15-20 which is should. I think the reason is that the glass door is not well sealed. I could feel cold air coming inside the sauna through the gap under the door. But I think just throwing a towel on the floor to close the gap could significantly improve the situation.

" The sauna was shipped without issue in the time frame given. It was relatively easy to install with the help of another person and using a youtube video. The written instructions are nearly impossible to understand so was thankful to find the online tutorial. I ordered the hemlock sauna. I was surprised that some of the reviews commented it was good quality wood. I have to disagree. It seems cheap and flimsy. It was poorly sanded. If I had more money, I would probably order the cedar or take more time to investigate other companies. It is nice that it is unfinished and there are no glues or dyes, but for the money, I expected better quality wood. Customer service, has been great however, and did help me remedy the situation with some minor cosmetic defects. I have been using it daily for the two weeks I have had it. It works well, smells good and I feel great after using it, more relaxed, energized and sweat out a lot of toxins. I am interested in seeing if there are long-term health benefits.."

"I got my Joyous 2 person sauna today, and set it up with 2 of my children. It went together pretty smoothly, although the instructions needed a few more details, and one step was out of order. (The handle to the door of the sauna needs to be put on BEFORE that front panel.) Also, the L brackets under the bench were a bit tricky, but everything else was pre-drilled.

Overall I love it! I used it for about 30 minutes the first time, and it greatly reduced my joint pain. I also feel really relaxed and looser in my usually-tight joints. I can't wait to use it more! This is the best sauna I found at this price point.

"As senior citizens we wanted a small sauna that wouldn't be too expensive or too difficult to assemble. We got everything we hoped for. The sauna is a perfect size and looks prettier than pictured. Assembly did take us two hours but we're not the sharpest pencil in the box when it comes to assembly! We have used it twice already and can't believe we waited this long to get one. The quality is remarkable and nothing was even marginally damaged in shipping. Nothing was missing either. Altogether a wonderful experience and we would recommend this product to anyone."

"I have used a few far infra-red saunas around the world. These things are one of my favorite self care tools. It’s only now that I’ve been able to acquire one for myself and I’m so happy I did.

Pro’s: It’s absolutely beautiful. I love all the glass. It creates a feeling of openness and light while you’re in the sauna, reducing any feeling that you might need additional light. This particular design has more heating elements than any other unit I’ve been in. I love it. The heat feels like it’s coming at you from every direction with the exception of the front glass, the floor under your feet and above. The fact you can add additional equipment to increase the health benefits for a more personal treatment is really great. The ease with which you can set this up, is so clever. I have a real love for clever designs. The tongue and grooves in the wood, the pre-installed latches, the lightness of the material and the pre-cut holes made it easy to set up in an evening with just 2 ppl. I love how safety concerned the company seems. Numerous stickers are on the unit highlighting unsafe usage or operation.

Con’s: The wood splinters a bit. I’m sure it’s because it’s brand new and it will smooth out over time but I do worry about splinters. The glass flexes on the door a bit when opening the unit. It’s not a serious issue or anything but I feel concerned sometimes as I’m opening it.

Wish-list: In spite of the fact that I like the pre-cautions to keep users safe, I wish I could put the unit on a plug-in so I could control it through blue-tooth. It’d be great to start the sauna remotely to warm it up. It would make for a more seamless integration into my daily routine."
