"This was my third transaction with JustFly. Previously I have flown to Asia last March 2019, December 2019, and now planned for April 2020. When I was booking my flight it said to call in for better prices. I called in and the sales rep suggested I could save $20 by leaving an hour earlier and connecting through Las Angeles to Tokyo instead of San Francisco to Tokyo. I confirmed with her that the rest of my itinerary would stay the same other than that connecting flight. She confirmed each flight number as the one I had given her. I asked for a copy of the itinerary before purchase and she said it was impossible. I placed the order.
I checked online to see what the itinerary was after purchase and it said they were still confirming it with the airline and it could take 1-3 days. 3 days later its confirmed that I'm now leaving an hour earlier and arriving at my final destination in Thailand a day later than the flight information we had agreed upon.
I called justfly and they said sorry its not our fault you confirmed it over the phone. I told them what happened and that she confirmed only the first flight through Las Angeles to Tokyo would change and my flight from Tokyo to Thailand would remain the same. They said it was impossible to amend the ticket no matter what happened.
Well a week later they send me an email saying they've changed my flight. Now I'm flying from San Diego, to Las Angeles, the San Francisco, to Tokyo, changing airports at Tokyo, and then flying to Thailand a 20 hours after the flight I had originally booked.
After 5 attempts to call and cancel the flight, being hung up on instead of transferred each time, I finally got to the part where they were going to offer a refund. I asked them if they could give me the original flight I booked and they said no. I asked for a full refund and they said they would issue a full refund...in 8 weeks. Since I saw the original flight I had told them to book me over the phone on the airlines direct website for $150 less than I paid I told them to cancel it. They confirmed that I would receive the full refund in 8 weeks. I went and booked the flight direct with the airline, and then received an email from Justfly.
My refund request had been denied.
$900 down the drain. $750 for the actual flight they were supposed to book me in. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. "
