"I had ordered a light and another light I had looked at ended up in my cart along with it. My error. When I realized it, I immediately called them to cancel the one I didn't want. They said they would try to stop shipment of it. I called back a week later after the one I did not want to receive arrived at my home. The light I wanted did not. They told me both had arrived. I argued, they said they would have FEDEX do research to follow up.
A week later I called back. They said FEDEX said they would not refund me for missing light and I should try to fight with my bank which I said I would not. LampsPlus would not refund me either. I was out $140 and bought a second one and spent the money essentially buying the light twice.
I then went back to the FEDEX tracking ticket and saw that the missing light, had in fact, made a U-Turn from the vendor in Florida and was delivered BACK to the vendor. I called and showed them this and they were embarrassed and offered to refund my money. I am not a rocket scientist but I did a lot better than LampsPlus AND FEDEX in investigating their own systems. It was a very time consuming process coupled with several calls, waiting in call line etc. just because I decided to spend 10 minutes to purchase a light.
