"Make sure to use PayPal when dealing with Lightake. Open a dispute as soon as you can when item does not arrive. Customer service will not help you.
I have ordered 6 items from Lightake. Five arrived in a few weeks and all good. A sixth order never arrived. So I contacted Lightake. They responded quickly and we went through the usual check your post office etc. Eventually they agree to refund. A few weeks later no refund. I contact them again. Then they decide they will not refund because they think item is still in transit. Item had tracking number that showed item was shipped but never arrived in my country. A few more emails and then they stop responding. So off to PayPal dispute I go for full refund."
"I notified Lightake that my order has not delivered after 5 weeks. They asked me to wait for 3 more weeks but my order still has not showed up after that. I contacted Lightake again and this time they asked me to confirm my address which is correct. They then asked me to wait for one more week and if I still haven't received my order then they will resend it. One week passed and nothing has happened. I then contacted Lightake again and asked them to re-send my order as promised. Lightake did not reply to my request. A week later, I repeated my request and asked Lightake to honor their promise. Lightake just kept quiet.
I then opened a dispute case with PayPal. Magically Lightake contact me the very next day. They asked me to drop the PayPal dispute case and repeated their promise that they did not keep to resend my order. Why on earth should I trust them to with their broken promise? I let them known that I has raised a dispute case with PayPal to request for a refund and asked them to communicate via PayPal dispute centre. They did not make any respond to the dispute case and at the end PayPal has stepped in and forced Lightake to refund my order.
Shoping online involves some level of risks. The order could be damaged or lost on the way. Sellers have no control of it. However, it is the responsible of the sellers to resolve the issue either re-send or refund the lost order. Lightake has intentionally avoid to resolve the issue by using their delaying tactics and completely cut-off communication with customers. Lucky, I used the PayPal service to pay for my order, otherwise I would have kissed my money goodbye. Shopping at Lightake may save you a few bucks but it 's not worth the time wasted and all the frustration.
So if you shop online then use PayPal service to ensure your customer rights is protected. Note that PayPal can only intervene if the dispute is raised with 180 days after the order has made.

"I ordered a Karambit from LighTake after reading a glowing review in an outdoor life magazine. My order was placed on Jan 16, 2017, with an advertised arrival time of 4-6 weeks. It did not arrive within that time frame, so I sent them an email. I did get a reply with the 'canned':

we checked your parcel already shipped by airmail without tracking info, the normally it takes 3-6 weeks pls don't worry and kindly waiting a few days more ,thanks

Three more inquiries - each about a week apart - were met with essentially the same response. After 8 weeks of waiting, I let them know that I was going to burn them on Facebook. To which I received this reply:
'since your address is correct
could you please go to your local post office to inquiry if your package is there or not?'
More time wasted. The main function of their business seems to be jerking their customers around for extended periods of time. I am now in my 11th week of waiting, and about 5 days ago I got this reply after another inquiry:
'hi friend
sorry for delay your time
still not get it ?could you mind waiting a week more ?maybe you can receive soon . if still not arrive, we'll resend for you , hope you can understand .thanks

This was not a major investment, so it's more the business principle than the money. I have serious doubts that I will ever receive my merchandise, and I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH LIGHTAKE AGAIN! Avoid this company at all costs!

"I do a lot of online shopping with sellers such as Amazon, ebay, Gearbest, Banggood etc and have had pretty good service so I decided to give Lighttake a shot. I placed my order on Jan. 27 and expected to receive notification of shipment in a day or two. Not so. A week later I contacted their customer servive and was told that the order was shipped on Feb. 3rd. 7 days to get a package from their warehouse to the post office??????. When I got the tracking number I entered it into the mail tracking system and the information provided said the package did not arrive at the post office until Feb. 5th and was not processed through the facility until the 6th of Feb. Someone has their information confused or is not telling the truth and I think I know who. My point is, I will never place another order with this seller. If it takes these people 1 week to get a package to the post office they have some real problems and don't deserve my business."
