"I ordered an air box lid for my Camaro on Oct. 27 2012. They billed me on the 29th. I checked the site on the 30th to see when it was going to ship . I could not get any answers, so I called (not a toll free number) and got the reply "it should ship in a day or two". They were taking forever to ship the order. I emailed them on November 5th and again got the reply "it should ship in a day or so". At this point I informed them I wanted to cancel the order. They replied with "are you sure?". I told them "yes, I'm sorry". This was at 1PM on November 5th. About two hours later I get an email saying the part shipped, which led me to believe they never contacted their vendor until after I canceled the order! By this time I had already ordered from a more reliable vendor that made good on their promise of shipping the same day. I asked LM Performance to stop the shipment ( which they could have done because the part wasn't picked up by UPS until late that evening). They wanted me to pay for return shipping because as I was told "we're only making five bucks on this item". I sent the part back by refusing to accept the shipment and they refused to refund my money even after numerous emails and proof from UPS that the part was returned. I had to go to my credit card company and in initiate a claim against them. They keep bringing up the garbage about the hurricane, but the hurricane didn't keep them from refunding my money after the part was returned. Maybe their "vendors" are happy with them, but I'm not too sure about their customers. Especially this one! I've been shopping on the web for years, and this is the worst experience I've EVER had. Nothing but lies and deceit from this company. Beware! "
"I was in the market for a cat-back exhaust for my 08 Z06 Vette and did an online search for prices. LM Performance was the cheapest. I also had many questions which I sent via email and every one of them were answered promptly. They were very helpful as well. I ended up buying B&B Bullets and a Corsa X Pipe. Finally, I placed the order on a weekend and it was at my door Tuesday. There I was looking for tracking info. And it already arrived. Overall very impressed with Customer Service and shipping and would definitely buy from LM again."
"Found the part I was looking for using Google shopping at the lowest price with free shipping from LM Performance. When I called in my order, I was told it would be about 1.5-2 weeks until my order would ship. That sounded ok. My credit card was charged that day! (Still upset about that.) Three weeks pass and nothing. E-mail LM Performance regarding my order status and no reply. Called and they said it was delayed (duh!). They updated the shipping date to the following week. Four weeks after I placed my order, I e-mail them 2 more times, still no reply. Called every day and I'm told it would ship the next day each time. E-mailed LM that I would be canceling my order (now 4.5 weeks since I was charged) if it did not ship the next day. Got a VERY rude e-mail response I was told to call the manufacturer myself! I did. They shipped my part the next day. LM Performance has AWFUL service. Consider yourself warned."
"WORST COMPANY EVER! I ordered a set of fog lights and they were melting the day after they were installed so I contacted lmperformace and was told to fill out a return form. I filled one out and didn't hear back. I filled another one out and didn't hear back. Thankfully I paid with paypal so I opened a dispute and since that puts a hold on the money, they finally answered. They sent a nasty email outside of our paypal conversation saying "thanks for the chargeback" which leads you to believe that this company is run by 3-4 people in someones house. They gave me a label to ship back because I demanded it (since it wasn't my fault the product was crap) and I shipped it out ASAP. They received the package and I asked when I was getting my refund (the money was on hold by paypal still...they just had to approve it going back to me). They didn't answer. I asked them again and they didn't answer. I told them I would escalate the case to paypal and they didn't answer still. I DID escalate the case and got my full refund. (THANK YOU PAYPAL!!) DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF. This took over a month of my time!"
